She is 24, a college student, brown hair tied up in a pony tail. For any more she doesn't have the time. After university she works shifts in a coffee shop. She dreams of moving out of her parents house, becoming independent, earning money and making it big. She is like a machine, her hopes and dreams her fuel, working herself to the bone each day, hoping she won't break down. She wouldn't be able to afford that. Most of the people she serves survive on caffeine and so does she. She gets up at 5 o'clock each day to commute to university, hour long train drives, but she doesn't have the money for an apartment close by. Days are tiring, so are nights. She only gets 4 hours of sleep a night, on a good day. Expectations are high, hers, the university's and everyone else's and she doesn't feel like she lives up to them. She is so young, but she doesn't feel it. Every day she lives dreaming of the future, fighting the fear that it may never come.
