A week had passed by and I haven't seen Jack since our last conversation on the front porch. He must be thinking really hard about what I said, I mean I think it's a true statement. We really don't know what love is and maybe will not know what love is until we die. I walk down the street taking in the summer air, when I look to my side I could see Jack out in his front yard sitting on the grass all alone, "Hey Jack you good?"

He looks up and wipes away his tears as fast as he could, " Y-yea just got some dirt in my eyes?"

"Dirt? There's not much dirt in LA, you fool!" I sit down next him staying quiet for a few minutes so he could get his act together.

"Your right... It's just... Well Ellie and I broke up and I didn't think it would end to well..." I look at him with concern.

"Then how did it end?"

He laughs but still looks as if he's in pain, "It ended TO well... Like we hugged and now we act as if the relationship never existed."

I shake my head and try not show my smile, "May I ask why that's a bad thing?"

"Because I just... Well I want her to show that she misses me, like I miss her... you know?"

I nod my head in response, "I know what you mean but at least she doesn't hate you..." I give him a smile and he returns the favor.

"True." I get up from the ground and hold a hand out for him to take.

He looks up at me and grabs my hand holding on tight, "Wanna hangout Grazer?" We both walk into his house together, doing the same old stuff we've been doing since the first day we met.

"Wanna drink?" He asks me.

I nod my head in response and he throws a Coke at me, "thanks my dude!" We walk over to the living room and turn on the TV watching whatever was on.

Jack looks at me with a huge toothy grin, "thanks y/n." He leans in and gives me a huge hug, the one where you never want to let go.
