Love is a Battle Jack X Hiccup

Chapter 7

HICCUP POV:

I give Toothless his basket of fish like always. I looked and saw Jack with my dad. My dad was eating dinner and Jack was trying to get his attention. Jack sat across from him. My dad didn't notice. Jack stood up and grabbed his staff. He started floating but fell. His cape covered his face. I giggled but my dad still didn't notice. Jack stood up and dust himself off. He walked up to me. "Well you are the only one to see me as of now" said Jack. Toothless sniffed Jack. "I think Toothless can two" I said. Toothless did a gummy smile. "Why though" asked Jack. "What" I asked. "Why can only you guys see me" asked Jack. "I don't know, let's just go to bed and figure it out tomorrow" I said and yawned at the end. I went to bed on the mat and Toothless had his bed. It survived the fire. (Toothless puts fire on it every time he sleeps so I doubt it would burn with the house). I covered up and closed my eyes. Jack put his stick down and laid with me. "Your hands are cold" I said.

"Sorry" said Jack. Jack wrapped me up in the blanket and snuggled with me. I smiled as I fell asleep. I think of might of shed a few tears as well. Mainly cause I'm just happy that Jack is back. In a strange way but, better then nothing.

JACK POV:

I tried to sleep but couldn't. I even had my eyes closed for a hour. I signed. Hiccup's dad was snoaring a little. I heard a sound in the distance. I got up and grabbed my staff. I saw a light outside the door. I looked at Hiccup sadly and signed. I kissed his lips. "I'll be back" I said. I followed the light. I made it to the woods. I had my staff ready to attack. "Hello mate" said a voice. I jumped and turned to see a giant bunny with a bummer ring. I put my staff down. "Uh who are you" I asked. "Fellas" said the bunny. I was picked up by a yetti. "HEY PUT ME DOWN" I yelled. I squirmed and they shoved me in a sack. I was tossed and landed somewhere. I lifted the sack and saw a light. I saw a few elfs.

I took the sack off and looked around. I was picked up and taken out of the sack. "Put me down" I said. I was put down and I picked up my staff. "Who are you people" I asked angrily. "Right right right, I'm Santa, that is Tooth, and then there is the Sandman, and the Bunny" said the guy with a white beard. "So, any one wanna tell me why I'm here" I asked. The moon light shined on the floor a gem came up. The moon light shined in the gem and two people showed up. Me and Hiccup. "You are now a guardian" said Santa. "But no one can see me" I said confused. "They have to believe in you with the exception of pets" said Tooth. "But they could see me before" I said. "That was before you died" said Bunny. I froze in horror. "What" I asked. "Jack you died, don't you remember" asked Tooth. I thought back. I remember how the ship burned and I drowned. "But I thought, that........I was" I started. "Well at least you were reborn" said Santa. I looked at the gem. It still had me and Hiccup holding hands. "But what about Hiccup. He's still alive" I said. Every one was silent.
