I took a quick glance at the wooden floor. My oldest sister Kristen and her husband Toby were coming back for the first time in 6 years. After Kristen turned 18; she disappeared. She left after my youngest brother Frankie was born. She never got to meet Maddie, my youngest sibling. I live in a house of 15 children including me. 16 with Kristen. I'm Lacey 17 years of age.
''Lacey'' Matt,8, yelled tugging my arm.
''I'm sorry Matty, I was daydreaming'' I replied in my sweetest voice as possible.
''Damn right you were'' He concluded walking away. Hell, Oliver better not use that language around any other kids. Who knows what they'll be capable of saying in a few years. I walked into my room and layed on my bed.
''Aaron; clean dishes, Brittney; dry dishes, Oliver, fold laundry'' The intercom said. Please skip Lacey. ''Lacey; find dirty laundrey'' the intercom continued,
''Jaden; clean yours and Marilyn's room, Jordan; Teach Matt the basics of Soccer, Frankie and Maddie; pick up toys'' I walked in all 20 rooms in our house including the guest rooms and found at least 4-9 loads. I walked to the laundry room singing Journeys Faithfully .
''Off-Key'' Oliver stated when he heard me.
Screw Off! I sang it perfect.
''Well have fun folding and dong laundry'' I said instead smirking. I then walked away. Laundry took the most time & effort. If it was messy even just a smidge off and my mother would go crazy! No joke.
''Shes Here'' I heard little Ace screaming. All 15 of us gathered around the stairs that led to the first floor. Some kids were already on the first.
''A new record'' Tyler said coughing into his sleeve. As soon as we saw her, Sam, and this about 5 year old kid he was carrying.
''What a baby. I was supposed to walk when I was five.''
''That child is so stuck-up''
"I hate her!"
"Ew, why did she waste he talent"
''She should have got a abortion'' You could hear all around the room. We all knew when she walked in this summer would be absolute mind blowing. Here it goes, No Second Chances this year. Wish me a good luck?
