Chapter 2 - Family Suprises

 "You dudes ready ?" I asked Matt and Frankie as they nodded there head to agree. They go down first because there the youngest .

" Please welcome the munchkins," As soon as they heard everyone applaud they went down the stairs. They open the night because they're adorable! One look and they make you forget everything.

"Next, please welcome the musicians."  Me, Sidney, Oliver, and Miranda headed down.

"Now the athletics...." We come from a huge family of sports fans. The Olympics is a huge deal for us. If your over 15 and you're in sports you better at least make it to the trials or else you're a disgrace to the family.

"Jordan; Soccer , Marilyn, Jaden , James; Basketball , Maddie; gymnastics , Ace; Volleyball." They all went down when they heard their name.

"Lastly, please welcome the models, Tyler, Brittney, and Aaron" Finally. I waited all day for this part. "Please welcome Mr. and Mrs. Gortsch." Watching my parents walk down they were breathtaking .  Step by step. I only see them once in a while and when I do, I get very proud.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a special gift this night. Please help me welcome Kristen Gortsch. I snickered at her name. Everyone except me applauded. I looked at her stunning gown and makeup. I mean there were better dresses then that. Right? I looked to my right and saw Oliver standing besides me.

"Ollie, do you forgive Kristen?" I asked him. I looked down afraid of his answer. Kristen has tried to make it up, but she wasn't able to fool me.

"Lace, I can't answer that. You know that." He replied. I excepted the answer. Just, not from him. Some of the munchkins were too young to remember back what happened, but everyone else it was as clear as day. She ruined our lives. No doubt about it. 

"You may all be seated," my parents told us. The chefs brought out this tasty looking steak, and some french fries. Wine for the adults, and apple juice for the kids. I saw Marilyn and Jaden looking at me for desperate measures. They strongly disliked steak, because of the juice. It made them sick. I quietly got up.

"Please excuse me," I kindly said, and walked into the kitchen.

"The twins can't eat steak." I told the chef in charge," Can you make them both a cheeseburger?"  She hurriedly got back to cooking. If you work for our family, you can not make a mistake or you will be fired. I walked to the room where everyone was eating and continued eating my meal. After everyone was done eating and talking it was a tradition for all musicians to sing together. Of course Me, Sidney, Oliver, and Miranda had prepared. 

"Please welcome, Sidney and Lacey Gortsch singing 'Boy like you by Kesha ft. Ashley Tisdale'" We stepped on the stage in our stage costumes. I sang Ashley's part, while Sidney sang Keshas.

"What do I do with a boy, with a boy like you?" We sang together getting the crowd pumped up. "Got me lost got me hooked, now i'm so confused!" I found Zach Storm and was looking at him while singing. Zach was a huge, singer.I looked at the guy next to him. Chance Klaus I was surprised when I heard they both came. After the song was over we bowed and went off the stage.

"Please welcome Miranda and Oliver Gortsch singing The last time by Taylor Swift ft Gary Lightbody"

We walked over to the rest of our family to listen to Randa, and Oli sing this song with meaning. It wasn't  song you would ussaly sing for a party, but their voices fit it perfect!  

"Come with me," this mysterious figure said behind me into my ear. He took my hand when no one was looking, and pulled me with him.
