Your POV
My brother's little "club" just keeps adding new members. This new kid is different though, he's darker skinned and usually quite silent, they call him Homechool. It's a fitting name seeing as he is homeschooled but also pretty anti social. Earlier on the day I met this new member, Richie went to go over to Bill's house and me being the "over protective" yet curious sister I am, I followed him.I lost him at an intersection on the roads but I knew one place that he might have gone to, the park. It was a long shot, it was either that or the arcade but I doubt that the whole group would go there. I knew that he wasn't at bill's house, Richie never does what he says in his excuse. I sat on a park bench watching the kids and parents walk by. I waited for a bit, I put on my headphones and plugged in my Walkman, bobbing my head to my music.
I looked over across the park to see a group of kids sitting on a bench. I saw a Hawaiian shirt and instantly started walking towards my brother. I know, I know, I'm getting too involved in all his problems. Well my parents are never around and when they are all they do is yell and complain. I had nothing better to do so I spied on my little brother, it's not weird at all..
"This woman I keep seeing.." Stan said.
"Is she hot?" Richie asked
"No Richie, she's not hot." Stan replied obviously aggravated.
"Who's not hot?" I asked interrupting their conversation. Stan looked down and Bill looked away. Richie rolled his eyes while Eddie was trying to hide an obvious blush on his face. Beverly smiled along with Ben. Mike smiled as well but in slight confusion.
"Oh I get it, the new losers are the only ones that are polite. Sorry for interrupting I was just checking up on you guys." I said.
"Did you seriously follow me?!? Can't a brother get any privacy these days?" Richie whined. I chuckled and ruffled his hair.
"I'm afraid not, not when your only group of friends are the biggest dorks in Derry." I looked over to the new kid. "I don't believe we've met, I'm Y/n, Richie's sister." I held out my hand to him. He shook my hand and smiled slightly.
"Mike Hanlon"
I smiled in return. "Nice to meet you Mike. Well I'll let you guys go back to your little drama fest. Hey you" I pointed to Richie. "Be back home by 5 if you want to hang out late with your friends. That's it from me, Good bye losers, and Mike." I winked at him and started walking backwards away from them, eventually turning and walking back to my bike.
Mike's POV
That was... interesting. Y/n seemed nice. She was different from her brother, at least just from what I saw.
"That's not what I expected your sister to be like Richie."
Richie scoffed. "What did you expect? An exact replica?" I looked down at my shoes. What did I expect? Not her that's for sure.
A few hours later
I rode my bike back to the farm, well I tried to. I saw a familiar car across the road. My heart started beating at a fast pace. I pedaled as fast as I could down the street, I heard the car start and start driving towards me. I tried to pedal faster but my foot fell off the pedal causing my leg to hit the ground and my body and bike to crash down to the asphalt.
