I am a first-year of a well-known school for talented and smart people.
But I, Lenny Dale, belongs to Class 1-C, regular class.
I ain't smart, I ain't dumb, but I ain't average neither.
My grades are high for my class, but too low for the overall ranking in first-years.
I am grade-conscious, however, I am also conscious with myself.
You might not know, so this is a secret between us...
I am an hardcore otaku in every genre.
Shoujo, shounen, sports, harem, yaoi, slice of life, fantasy, thriller, history, and even hentai.
I'm too gross to them.
Last week, I've watch 'Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun,' and it's my 4th time watching it. I read the manga 2 times, but I can't still get tired of it.
After a month, I planed on reading it again.
"Lenny, Mr. Clark is looking for you? He's in the literature clubroom," said the class representative of our class, Jamie. And just for your information, I don't like her-- she's a swine.
"I got it," I answered, taking my envelope out of my bag, and went my way.
When I arrived, I opened the door like there was no tomorrow-- I made a grand entrance.
"Clark! The latest chapter of 'Devils and Realistic' was awesome!!! William is such a cool kid!!!"
Clark spurted out his noodles while I was filled with enthusiasm.
He looked like he saw a monster-- he's ugly.
"!?!"
"What are reading? Is that the latest episode of Violet Evergarden?! How 'bout work? Wait--? Are you crying?!" Seeing his laptop on and a glimpse of Kyoto animation production made my eyes sparkled.
"SHH!!!"
Clark looks desperate. "The teachers are gonna hear you! They'll think I'm slacking off!!!"
This is my 23 year old cousin, Coronation Clark Dale, a literature teacher and advisor of the Literature and English club.
"I just want to take a break, then I saw Violet got updated, and.... and.... it's such a tear jerking episode! Anne's mom made 50 letters for each for her daughter's birthday, even though, she doesn't have enough time to live!"
Clark's tears are falling again.
"It's Violet who's writing them," I corrected-- deadfish eyes were looking at him.
"WHO CARES?! LAST WEEK'S EPISODE SUCKS!" He threw a fit. Wiping his tears again, he was in teacher mode, "Did you wrote the book review I told you?" His hand was asking for the paper.
"Yeah, it was interesting. That handsome Greek was like a Grimm reaper, every person he paints dies, just like he predicted. He's pretty cool!" My eyes were shining again.
"Eh~?" He reacted, "He's creepy if you ask me, knowing that I'll die because of stranger handsome-face Greek painted me out of nowhere... It still gives me goosebumps..."
"I know what you mean!" I smiled, I was having fun.
"By the way, 'Hooky' updated yesterday, chapter 141, Monica turned a damn pretty lady!"
"She was cute! But Damien made my heart skip a little 'cause of his new look!"
"Hetalia did too," he said.
