Before the Realms fell under Asgard's reign, chaos, war and destruction prevailed. Fire burned building after building and war left evident scars unto the realms. However, Odin, Hela and Eva felt obligated to stop chaos and rule over the realms. The three conquered realm after realm, but Hela's ambition turned dark and soon, her path led her against Odin and Eva.

Hela had grown furious after Eva had stated that Nine Realms was enough, being the goddess of life herself she never wanted blood to be shed for peace to be restored. Odin was left to make the decision whether to acquire peace or to abide with Hela. Odin realized the good and chose Eva, which left Hela angrier. Hela thought that her ambition wasn't for them to hear so she rebelled, attacked both Odin and Eva, wanting to reclaim the Asgard throne for herself. Odin proclaimed Hela's banishment and when she did not yield, he sent the Valkyries to battle but even they couldn't stop Hela's undying ambition. Eva had grown impatient and soon she faced Hela, only to find herself long asleep and hidden under a mountain by Odin.

Odin was left alone as he used force to imprison Hela and Eva was casted into a deep sleep to heal for a long time.

"Eva! Eva, come back here!" Young Eva giggled, running away from her sister

"Eva! Eva, come back here!" Young Eva giggled, running away from her sister. Soon enough, her sister caught up to her and tackled her to the ground, erupting in giggles. They lay on the grass surrounded by flowers, looking up at the blue and purple sky. Eva sat up and closed her eyes. She held her hand out, concentrating to conjure a flower crown for her sister. Once Eva thought she had done it, she opened her eyes and frowned at the small flower she had created. She heard Leia chuckle and her sister merely waved a hand and a flower crown appeared above her hair. Eva looked at her sister with awe, grabbing the flower crown and placing it on Leia's head instead.

Leia raised her eyebrow and held a hand for Eva to take and before she knew it, they were both on the grass, their laugh echoing through the field.

"Do you think Mother will be okay? I know she's not fond of me but...." Eva asked, rolling on her side to face her sister whose blue eyes stared up at the sky. Her sister, Leia, sighed and closed her eyes before doing the same, facing Eva. "Of course, Father will find a way to cure Mother's illness. Do not fret, everything will be alright and Eva?"

"Hm?" Eva perked up. "Mother loves you." Eva leaned closer to her sister as Leia started to hum a tune, tears pricking Eva's eyes.

"Girls!"

The siblings shot up at their father's voice and looked at their father with concerned faces, their father mirroring them. The two stood up, running to the palace.

"What's wrong?" Leia asked worriedly as she and Eva followed after their father, Bion. Bion stayed quiet as he led them through the palace halls to the master bedroom where their mother lay on the bed, ill. Leia held back tears as she took Eva's hand, walking towards their mother.

"Mother?" Leia whispered as she tucked a hair out of her mother's face. Eva stepped on a stool by the bed taking in the sight of her mother, Zoe.

Eva frowned at the sight of her family, she never wanted it to be this way, she only wanted her family to be happy but now here she was dressed in black, her eyes staring at her mother's pale features. Her mother had died by an unknown illness only discovered when she had grown weak. She'd been crying ever since the day she died, alone.

Her mother was not someone who showed that she loved Eva as she expected a boy when she was pregnant but she kept her. Even though, Zoe showed the slightest bit of love sometimes, Eva would not forget the times where she would see pure disdain whenever she stared back at those hazel eyes. She could tell that her mother saw of her as a disappointment.

Her life did not become easier after the queen's death, instead it became worse after her father, the King, had lost the battle against his demons and killed himself.
