Thor arrived at Asgard with the decapitated head of the fire dragon that drenched the whole Bifrost with its disgusting blood.
"Well, well, well...look who decided to pop in. Thanks for scaring away my company and drenching my workplace in brains." Thor looked at man with furrowed eyebrows. "Who are you?"
"Don't you remember? I'm Skurge. We fought together in Vanaheim." Recognition flashed in Thor's face, "Right. Where is Heimdall?"
"That traitor. No one knows. He's a fugitive of the throne." Skurge looked at his armor drenched in dragon goo. "Traitor?"
"Yeah. You see, Odin charged Heimdall with negligence of duty but he disappeared before the trial. Hard to catch a guy who can see everything in the universe." Thor started to walk away, confusion written in his face. "Sure."
"Hold on. I'm supposed to announce your arrival." Thor started to spin Mjolnir and left without a word. Skurge sighed in annoyance but ran after him.

Thor landed near the palace, his appearance greeted by a statue of his brother, Loki. Thor walked through the crowd and noticed that a play was occurring, the stage actors reenacting the death of Loki in a ridiculous manner. He waited for the ridiculous play to end and he made his way in front of Odin.
"Father." Odin's eyes widened at the sight of Thor and Thor, well, he wasn't convinced that this was his father. "My son, Thor, has returned! Greetings, my boy."
"Ιt's an interesting play. What's it called?" Thor walked closer to his father, Surtur's crown still in hand. "The Tragedy of Loki of Asgard. The people wanted to commemorate him."
"Indeed they should." Thor's calm voice responded. "I like the statue. A lot better looking than he was alive, though. A little less weaselly, less greasy maybe." Thor held up the crown.
"Do you know what this is?" Odin looked at the crown, "The skull of Surtur, that's a formidable weapon!" Thor looked at a guard and handed him the crown. "Do me a favor. Lock this away in a vault so it doesn't turn into a giant monster and destroy the whole planet." Thor panted , pacing in front of Odin, playfully tossing Mjolnir and catching it again.
Odin handed a lady his goblet and stands up, "So, it's back to Midgard for you is it?" He awkwardly rested his hand on a pillar, looking at Thor.
"Nope. You know I've been having this reoccurring dreams lately. Every night, I see Asgard fall into ruins. " Odin walked closer to Thor. "That's just a silly dream, signs of an overactive imagination."
"Possibly. But then I decided to go out there and investigate. And what do I find, but the Nine Realms completely in chaos. Enemies of Asgard assembling, plotting our demise, all while you, Odin, protector of the Nine Realms, are sitting here in your bathrobe, eating grapes." Odin fiddled with his hand nervously, something Thor was sure his father didn't do.
"Yes, it is best to respect our neighbor's freedom." Thor's angered smile reached Odin. "Yes, of course, freedom to be massacred." He threw Mjolnir freely, purposely avoiding Odin. "Yes, besides I've been rather busy myself." Odin tried to convince Thor.
"Watching theater." Thor frowned, "Well, board meetings and security council meetings..." Thor stepped closer to Odin. "You're really gonna make me do it?"
"Do what?" Thor looked at him for a moment before throwing Mjolnir far enough and summoning it back, to scare his brother. He stepped behind Odin, gripping his shoulders. "You know that nothing will stop Mjolnir as it returns to my hand. Not even your face." Thor gripped Odin's neck to prevent him from escaping. A guard had already pointed his sword towards Thor but he paid no mind to him.
