The bell rang, signaling the end of the day. I grabbed my bag and walked to the classroom doorway where Aaron was already waiting for me.
"So, what first?" I asked as I looped my arm through his.
"Well, I asked my teacher for a list and map of the clubs. We can go to the one closest to here. That's be the black magic club."
I raised an eyebrow. "Don't you always get scared sh*tless by that stuff?" We began to walk in the direction indicated by the map.
"Agh. I'm trying to overcome my fears, okay? And I didn't say we'd join it either."
"Okay, it's up to you," I said with a smirk.
Aaron pouted. "Don't make fun of me!"
I smirked again, "I'm not."
Aaron pointed at me. "There! It's that face that always appears when you're laughing at something!"
I simply gave him a Cheshire cat grin. "You can't still be thinking that, can you?"
"Don't lie to me! Oh, we're here." We stopped in front of a black door. I grabbed the knocker and hit it against the door. "Aah! Why'd you knock! I wasn't done mentally preparing myself!" Aaron whisper-yelled.
I was about to smirk at him when the door creaked open. I saw a dark figure inside. "C'mon." I grabbed Aaron's hand and dragged him inside.
The interior walls were a dark wine red, and the room was mainly lit by candles. The decor style was dark, with lots of engravings and strange furniture and nick knacks.
I ran my hand across a table that looked like obsidian. "This place is really nice, in a gothic way. The decorations and furniture around the room give it a good, stylish balance."
"I'm glad you appreciate it." A dark voice came from behind Aaron and I. Aaron screamed. I turned around.
Oh, that's the person I saw earlier. He was wearing a black cloak and a black wig. I could see Aaron shaking beside me.
"Would you like to join the Black Magic Club? Join now, and you get a free Beelzenef." He held up an angry looking kitty puppet.
I stifled a laugh. That sounded so much like those sales pitches in TV.
"N-n-n-no. W-w-we w-were j-j-just l-looking a-around. G-goodbye!"Aaron managed to get out before running out a door. Which wasn't the same one we came in.
I sighed and turned to the guy standing with the puppet. "Sorry about that." Then I went after Aaron.
***********Aaron's POV************
Oh god, this place is giving me the creeps. Never mind conquering my fears, I don't think I can stay in here much longer. How can Toshi keep her cool and just evaluate the decorations?
It's the freakiest room I have ever seen.
"This place is really nice, in a gothic way. The decorations and furniture around the room give it a good, stylish balance."
I jumped at the sudden words, but relaxed when I realized it was just Toshi trying out some Japanese. I still felt goosebumps trailing up my arms and the hair on the back of my neck rise up, though.
"I'm glad you appreciate it." I screamed at the sound of the creepy voice behind me. I'm not a sissy, I just wasn't prepared for it. How'd he get back there anyway? I didn't hear a thing.
The voice continued, "Would you like to join the Black Magic Club? Join now, and you get a free Beelzenef." I heard a small noise from Toshi. I decided to speak up.
"N-n-n-no. W-w-we w-were j-j-just l-looking a-around. G-goodbye!" It came out in hopeless stuttering, so I used my last resort.
I ran out the door...
...And stumbled into a world of roses, sparkles, and expensive looking tableware.
********And Back To Toshirō*******
I jogged over to the door Aaron went through. He was standing, shell-shocked, beside it. When I took in the room, I had the same reaction.
A blond with indigo eyes walked up to us, (ah, he's in my class) followed by seven others, walked up to us. They struck a pose.
"Welcome to the Ouran High School Host Club."
