I made an appointment with my Doctor a week ago to get a physical. I want to make sure that I'm healthy before I go into the Bachelor House. Today will be the last day that I see Callum for a month as I will be going to Nevada with my coach and looking for new recruits.

If we're successful in finding people in Nevada he wants to open a shop here and I will be telling them about the course that's on my Grandparent's property.

Clark has decided to open the tracks during the week and encourage more people to try a different sport. He also has insurance in case anyone gets hurt on the course.

My phone vibrates in my bag and I look down at it. I see 'Callum' flash across the screen. Pulling the message up and reading it.

Callum: I'm about to go the doctor's. Have you seen yours yet?

Me: No, I'm still waiting for him.

Callum: Is he running late?

Me: Yeah, apparently he had a medical emergency that needed to be taken care of. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to lunch.

Callum: I'll have a late lunch with you. I want to spend a couple hours with my best friend before she leaves me for a month. Did you know that will be longest we've been apart since we met?

Me: I know and I'm going to miss you.

Callum: Me, too.

"Cassie Tyler." The doctor calls and I stand up.

I send one last message to Callum as I follow him to his office.

Me: With the Doctor now. I will text you later.

The doctor looks at me. "How are you feeling today, Cassie?"

"Fine, I just want to get a physical. I need to make sure that I'm fine before I go away."

He nods. "Alright, hop on the bed." He pulls out the stethoscope and moves it around chest, making me take in deep breaths. Then he sticks a stick in my mouth looking at the back of my throat. "You sound and look healthy, Cassie. I'm going to send you to pathology to get some blood tests done. Will you be able to come in for the results when they're in?"

I shake my head. "I'll be in Nevada for a short time before I leave. I'll call you for the results. Will they be available at the end of the week?"

"Yes, they will, Cassie." He fills out some papers and gives it me. "I hope you have fun on your trip, Cassie. I'll be cheering you on, when you're on the track. My daughter said that you were favorite rider."

A smile spreads across my face. "You should take her to the race track tomorrow morning before school. I'll give her a few goodies of mine."

"Okay," he nods his head. "She's going to be excited when I tell her this when I get home."

I open my bag and go through it. I find a picture of me sitting on my bike and pull it out of my bag. I sign the picture. "Give her this."

"Thanks," he takes it from me. "I'll have the results of your test fast tracked. That way you know what's going on. Keep your phone on you at all times."

"Thank you, Doc." I climb off the bed and grab my handbag. I walk to the door and open it.

As I walk through the doctors surgery I see a few familiar faces, but they don't say anything as I walk out of the building. When I get to my car I pull my phone out of my bag and text Callum.

Me: I've finished at the Doctor's. I'm heading to the shops to get lunch. Is there anything specific that you want to eat?

I climb into the car and put the key in the ignition. Reversing out of the parking spot I head in the direction of the shops. I stop at a red light and wait for it to change. My phone goes off and I look at it.

Callum: Get some Chinese for lunch?

Me: Okay. Meet me at my place when you're done at the doctor's.

Callum: See you soon.

A horn beeps its horn and I look up to see that the lights have changed to green. I put my foot on the accelerator and drive through the lights. I scan the area and see a Chinese take-out place to my left.

I find a parking spot a couple meters from the store and I pull into it. Pulling my keys from the ignition I step out of my car and walk to the Chinese store.

A waiter looks up from the newspaper he was reading and a smile spreads across his face. "Welcome to Lee's. May I take your order?"

"Yes, I'll have two fried rice's with sweet n sour pork and Mongolian lamb, with some dim sims and six spring rolls."

The guy writes the order down. "It will be half an hour before it's done."

"Okay," I take a seat in the waiting area and pull my phone out of my pocket. I start playing candy crush, before I know it my meal is done and I pay for it and walk out the door.

At my car I put the food on the passenger seat before climbing into the car and pulling out of the parking spot.

At home I see Callum pull his car into the parking spot next to mine. He looks at me as he steps out of the car. "We made it back at the same time."

"Yeah," I grab the food from the seat and step out of my car. "What did the doctor say to you?"

He grabs my hand and pulls me towards the lift. He presses the button. "I have to wait for a phone call. He drew my blood and told me that he'll fast track it for me. My Doctor is a huge fan of mine."

I laugh. "My doctor said the same thing, that he'll fast track mine. I told him I was going away for a month and he's going to bring his daughter to see me at the track tomorrow. I have a goodie bag to give the daughter."

A smile spreads across his face. "You've always been good to your fans. I wish I was that way with mine, but I always seem to be too cocky for my own good."

I'll make him a few goodie bags before I leave. So, he can make some of his fans happy that he's trying to become a better person for the people that looks up to him.

The door opens on our floor and we make our way to my apartment. I open the door and we step inside. I place my keys on the table that's next to the entryway and walk to the kitchen. Grabbing two plates from the cupboard I walk over to table and serve lunch.

Callum sits across from me. "Lunch smells good. From the smell I can tell you got my favorite Mongolian lamb."

"Of course."

During lunch my phone goes off and I excuse myself.

Me: Hello, this is Cassie Tyler.

Voice: Hello, Cassie. It's Doctor McAvoy. I have your test results.

Me: Okay,

Doctor McAvoy: You're healthy and there's nothing wrong with you.

Me: That's great. Thank you.

I hang up the phone and walk back to the kitchen where I see Callum on the phone.

Callum says, "Thanks, Doc. That's great news." He hangs up the phone and looks at me. "I'm in good health and I don't have a sexually transmitted disease from the woman I've slept with."

I place my hand on his arm. "That's great news, Callum. I've been given the all clear as well."
