Crystal's P.O.V
I knew that when me and my dad couldn't go surfing I knew he would take me to work instead, he took me to Five-O HQ where I saw Uncle Danny(Daniel), Uncle Chin, and Aunt Kono. After my dad got done with work Uncle Danny took me and Grace out for Ice Cream after we picked Grace up from her moms house.
"Crys" Grace said and hugged me
"Hi Grace" I said with a smile
"Where do you girls want to go today?" Daniel asked
"Grace want to go surfing?" I asked
"Sure" she responded
"Uncle Danny, we want to go surfing" I said to him
"Alright, let me call Kono and Chin" he said and dialed their numbers
"Hello?" They said at the same time picking up
"Hey Chin, hey Kono" Daniel said
"Hey Danny, what's up?" Kono asked
"The girls want to go surfing today, any possibility you can meet us at the beach?" He asked
"Sure, Chin?" Kono said
"We can meet you there" Chin said
"15 minutes meet me there" Danny said to Chin and Kono
"Got it Danny" Kono said and hung up the phone and Chin did the same
Soon Chin and Kono arrived at the beach. Kono got out a surf board and handed it to me. I ran to the water and got on the surf board and started swimming out to the waves.
"Crystal stay close" Kono called as I found a wave. I stood up on my board and started to surf.
Kono's P.O.V
I chuckled and shook my head as I watched the little girl on the water. Surfing was her passion and no one could stop her from doing what she loves. She loved to surf. I swam out and I stood up on my board and I surfed next to her. She laughed as she tried getting in front of me.
"Hey Crystal, stay where I can keep an eye on you!" I called out
"Okay Aunt Kono" she responded
I looked over at Danny and Steve and swam after her not wanting her to get hurt or have anything bad happen to her especially with her dad.
**Crystal's Sweet 16 and her leaving for New York for good**
Crystal's P.O.V
I didn't want to leave my dad, I didn't want to leave for New York, but my mom Catherine was coming to pick me up, I couldn't handle it. Hawaii was my home, Catherine couldn't take that away. Catherine would meet me at the airport in New York.
"I'll miss you dad" I said as I hugged Steve with tears in my eyes
"Come visit, your welcome here anytime" Steve said as he kept hugging me while we were at the airport by the gate. He kissed the top of my head then released me.
"Last call for boarding on the flight to New York City" the attendant said
"Stay brave for us okay?" Kono said. I nodded
"I'll miss you the most" Danny said. I hugged him when he hugged me
"I'll miss you too Uncle Danno" I replied then looked at Chin "stay safe Uncle Chin"
"I will, as long as you do, New York is a busy city, a lot of bad people" he said and hugged me
"Call if you need anything" Steve said as he hugged me one last time before I boarded the plane
When the plane was pulling out of the gate I noticed they were watching from the window. I put my ear buds in and listened to music, I got a seat to myself in first class. I put my head against the window as the plane took off. When we were in cruising altitude, that's when I fell asleep. I woke up when we were at the airport in New York. I got off and looked around as I had my gun holstered and my badge of 'Five-O' showing.
I saw Catherine pull up. I put my stuff in the back of her car and got in. The whole car ride it was silent, not a word between us, I didn't consider Catherine as my mom very much.
We got back to Catherine's place. I went upstairs to my room and I set my stuff on my bed as I looked around. I had my door shut and she came in and knocked on the door
"Dinner's ready if your hungry" she said. I just looked out my window
"I'm not hungry" I said a bit annoyed at her for taking me from my home "I'm going to call dad to let him know I made it safely"
"Okay, well, its on the table, I'll put it in the fridge and you can warm it up when your ready to eat, I'll take you tomorrow to buy a coat, its almost winter, you need a coat for that" she replied as she went back downstairs
"McGarrett" dad said picking up
"Hey dad" I said over the phone
"Hey Princess, made it safely?" He asked
"Yeah, who else is there?" I asked
"Hey kid its your Uncle Danno" Danny said
"And your Aunt Kono and Uncle Chin" Chin replied.
"I'll be home next weekend you guys, it feels like I've been gone for more than just a couple of hours so far" I replied and I heard Danny chuckle "what was that for?"
"We miss you too Crystal" Danno said. I smiled and tears formed in my eyes
"I love all you guys" I replied "dad, New York is cold, but, Catherine said that she was going to take me shopping for a coat tomorrow"
"Have you eaten yet?" Dad asked
"No, I haven't" I replied
"Go eat" Danny said "I'm sure Catherine's cooking isn't that bad"
"Its actually amazing food, but I'd rather go out to pizza" I replied
"Pizza is good too" Danny said
"I have to go, love all of you" I said and hung up the phone.
