Back home in Hawaii
I sat in my room thinking and packing my stuff, my flight left in the morning and I had to move back to New York. I saw a picture of me and Tessa that said 'ohana means family, family means no one gets left behind or forgotten'. I packed that picture. My dad came upstairs and knocked on the door and I wiped the tears.
"Hey Crystal, what are you doing?" He asked walking in and sitting on my bed
"I can't stay here daddy" I replied trying not to cry
"What do you mean?" He asked
"I have to move back to New York and live there with mom" I replied.
At the airport in Hawaii
Danny pulled me in for a hug. Then they all hugged me. My dad made sure I had my gun, taser, badge and cuffs just in case I needed to use my cuffs, taser and gun.
"Last call for boarding to New York City" the desk person said
"Alright, that's me, I love you guys" I replied as they hugged me again
"Stay strong for us okay? You can call when you get off the plane and everyday before and after school" Danny replied. I nodded
"I love you guys, bye" I said then went outside and went up the steps and boarded the plane
I looked at my ticket and sat down in my spot. I put my ear buds in. A flight attendant walked past
"Excuse me" she said as I took out one of my ear buds "I don't think your allowed to have a gun on a plane"
"I have certification to have it with me at all times, Officer Crystal McGarrett of the Five-O" I said as I showed my badge to her.
Arriving in New York
I got off the plane and looked around. I went to buy a snack then I went to get my bags just another day I said quietly to myself as I waited for Catherine to come pick me up. Once Catherine did come I put my stuff in her car then I got in.
"I see your back" she said
I ignored her, I didn't want to talk to her. Not right now, I looked out the window and listened to music.
Back at the house in New York
I layed on my bed talking with Danny and my dad over the phone. I had missed them. I heard Cat call me. "Alright, I have to go" I said "I love you both". I hung up the phone and went downstairs
"Crystal, why are you ignoring me?" She asks
"Because I don't want to live here" I said rudely to her.
At school in world studies
I walked into the school and sighed another day of High School, where's Ryder when I need him? I said to myself as I walked to my first class. I sat down next to Ryder and I took out my ear buds, it was world studies, next was Criminal Justice with the worlds coolest teacher ever.
"Alright class, can anyone tell me what happened when the attack of 9/11 happened?" The teacher asked. I raised my hand "yes Crystal?"
"9/11 was one of the most dangerous terrorist attacks that could ever happen, our NYPD officers, some of them were killed. 3,000 people were killed when the towers came down" I responded to the question.
"And you have experience, you coming from a military family" he said. I nodded
"Yes, my dad Steve McGarrett was a Navy seal" I said as a kid saw my gun
"SHE'S GOT A GUN!" The kid shouted
"You shut it Tommy, I'm certified and I was given permission" I said as I showed my badge to Tommy.
"Oh, never mind then" Tommy said
"Mhm, that's what I thought" I said and sat back down in my seat.
At school in Criminal Justice
"Can anyone tell me what happens when a person is arrested" the teacher asked the class. I raised my hand "yes, Crystal"
"They are read their rights, then they are taken to the station for questioning by a detective" I said and I sat back down in my seat.
"Teachers pet" I heard a boy say. I turned to him and stuck my tongue out at him "shut it ass"
"Hey! Don't talk like that to me" he said as he stood up challenging me
I grabbed his arm and turned it so it would be behind his back as I pushed him to the ground
"Want to challenge me again, huh?" I asked sternly.
"No, I don't" Viktor said
"Good choice" I said as I sat back down "and that's one of the ways on how to take down a bad guy"
"Your dad must've taught you well, I've never seen that before" the teacher said
"Thank you" I responded.
After school
"Hello? Hey Uncle Danny, what's up?" I asked
"Hey Crys, how are you?" He asked
"I've been better, I miss you guys though" I replied
"We miss you too" he said.
"When can I come?" I asked
"Whenever you want" he responded
"Could I come for a while tomorrow?" I asked him
"Of course" he responded.
Hawaii
I got on the plane back to Hawaii, I had missed my family, especially my dad and my Uncle Danny. When I got to Hawaii I drove to the palace
"Crystal" Kono said
"Shh, I want to surprise dad and Uncle Danny" I responded quietly.
"Crys!" Danny yelled
"Uncle Danny!" I called out and hugged him "I missed you"
"I've missed you too" Danny said.
"Hey sport" Steve said messing up my hair
I took his arm and flipped him over me and he landed on the ground
"Man, I taught you that move well" he said with a slight chuckle
