I screamed playfully as my little sister jumped on me to get me up, I finally got up and I went downstairs and saw someone familiar at the door
"Danno!" I yelled excitedly as I ran up and hugged him
"Hey Tess" Danny replied to me and he smiled hugging me back "ready to go to school?"
"Yeah, I am, bye mom, come on Grace" I said and walked out to Danny's car and got in the front while Grace got in the back.
"Hey, you always get front" Grace said
"Maybe because I'm older than you" I replied
"That's not fair!" She shouted
"Hey, hey!" Danny shouted "behave yourself, Tess, apologize"
"I'm sorry Grace" I said
"Its fine" she replied
Dad dropped off Grace at school first. He scolded me on my way to school.
"You've never been rude to your younger sister, why was today any different" dad asked
"I'm sorry dad, I don't know what I was thinking" I replied
"You better change that" he said
"I will dad okay? I'll meet you at Five-O after school" I replied and got out of the car
I walked in and noticed Crystal was back. I ran and hugged her and she gave me a hug in return
"I missed you Tess" she said
"I missed you too Crystal" I replied
"How have you been?" She asked
"Besides missing you? Just got lectured by dad" I replied
"Hold on a sec, Catherine's calling" she said and she picked up the phone
"McGarrett" she said into her phone
"Crystal McGarrett, you get back here right now" Cat said
"Oh, hello to you too mom" she replied to her mom "and no, I'm not, my life is here in Hawaii, not New York"
"That's not your choice, you get back here right now" her mom said
"No, I never wanted to leave in the first place, and you and dad didn't ask me you just did it" she replied "now I have to go, never call me again, if you do I'll call the New York Police and tell them that you neglected me"
She hung up and groaned. She didn't miss New York one bit. She went to the shrimp shack to see Ryder there. He waved her over and she sat by him.
"Hey, I missed you" Ryder said as I rolled my eyes. He glanced at me "and who are you?"
"I'm Tessa Daniels, Crystal's best friend, and who are you?" I asked.
"Its fine Tess" she said "this is my boyfriend Ryder, I met him in New York when I went there"
"Are you able to stay?" I asked Crys
"No, I tried Tess, I really did, my mom still wants me to come back" she said
"Please just try again" I begged
"I already tried" she said
