Chatper 1

Luke's pov:

I wake up and smell the air. Yum! Angel's mum must be making food. Well I know you maybe thinking who is this Angel? Is she my girlfriend? No, she is my best friend since I moved here 7 years ago. I am 17 years old. I moved here to Bristol, Tennessee when I was 10 and I was a new kid at a new school in a new country. I was the weird kid because of my accent. Angel made should that I wasn't bullied, but that was really hard because this one person made sure to bully me. His name is Ed, but now he is my friend and I have a new bully that Angel don't know about and I don't plan to tell her anytime soon. I hear a knock and I know it's Angel. "Come in." I say and pull the covers up. Angel walks in with a Black Veil Brides shirt and pink skinny jeans. "Luke, you know something?" she said and I know where this is going. "What Angel?" I say rolling my eyes. "You never told me why your mom and dad kicked you out." she said throwing a pair of jeans at me. "Yeah, I don't think you ready to know." I say as she turns on her heels. "YOU DON'T THINK I AM READY TO KNOW?" she yells and stomps over to me. I laugh at her and she slaps me. "Ow!!!" I yell and stand up knowing I am only in my boxers. I am taller than Angel. She only comes up to my chest. Angel steps back. "I am sorry Luke." she says looking at the ground. I know she didn't mean it, so I pull her into a hug. "I know Angel, can you go so I get dressed?" I asked her and pulled away. She nodded and walked out of the room. I close the door and pull off my boxers and put some new ones on. I walk over to my bed and grab the jeans Angel gave me and slipped them on. I open the door and Angel ran down the steps. Oh yeah that's right Angel's mum is driving us to school. I grab a shirt and it's my  roll stones one! I run down the steps and walk into the kitchen and grabbed a muffin. "Luke?" Angel's mum asked and I turned around and looked at her. "Yes?" I say lean on the chair next to me. "Why did you and Angel yell at each other?" she asked and saw Angel on the phone. "She hit me after I told her something." I say and walk up to Angel's mum and hugged her. " I think me and Angel will walk today." Angel looks at me and smiles. I pull my shirt over my head and grabbed my book bag. "Come on Angel!" I yell and hear her running and she jumped on my back. I guess she is getting carried to school, thank God we don't live far from school. I hear Angel giggle, yes giggle. "Did I just hear you giggle?" I say as I start walking down the street. "No." she said and I laughed at her. I walk on and than I feel my phone go off in my pocket. "Angel hun can I put you down now?" I ask in a old man voice making her laugh like crazy. I put her down and pull my phone out of my pocket. It was Ed. I missed a call from him, that is weird he never calls me on his house phone. "Angel?" I say looking at her and she looks at my phone. "Why did Ed call you on his house phone?" she asked me confused. "I don't know." I say and start walking again. I see the school and I walk to the door ignoring the looks. "Hey fag!" a voice yells across hall. I keep walking, I know Angel heard that. "Luke! Wait up!" Angel yells and runs up to me and grabs my hand. "Why did you let that guy call you that?" she asked and I just pulled my hand away. I walked away and I hear her sigh. I get into my first class. I hate this class, not just because its math because my bully is in it. He sits right next me. "Hey Luke." Kyri says and smiles at me. Why is she being so nice to me now? My bully walks in and sittings next to me in his seat. "So Luke. How are you and your little boyfirend doing? I didn't see him walk in this morning." my bully says and grins at me. His name is Ashton Irwin. God, he was gorgeous. He has brown hair with blonde, a perfect smile, and his eyes. Oh how his eyes are a mix of green and brown, they are like hazel. He was tall and not that buff. I am on the other side. I am tall and a little buff, I have a lip ring, with blue eyes, and I have blonde hair with a little brown. I have to say I don't have the best smile, but Angel tells me its drop dead gorgeous. "Hello?" he says and it gets me out of my though. "He ain't my boyfriend, he is my friend." I say and Ashton laughs and turns around and looks at the teacher. I pull out my notebook and start working on my class work.

I walk out of class and look around the hall. I feel someone push me. I turn around and it's Ashton. "Wow! Luke next time why don't you move instead of standing in my way." Ashton says and walks by me and puts a note in my  hand. 'Meet me in the bathroom before lunch' it say and I walk to my next class. Read is fun because Angel is in that class. "Hey Angel!" I say and hug her. "You best be telling me why your mom and dad kicked you out now!" Angel said stomping her foot. She knows that I told Ed. Great, now she is going to leave me. I sit down, and pat the seat next to me. "My mom and dad kicked me out because I am gay." I whisper in her ear. She smiles and hugs me. "Yes! I love you even more now." she says and I pull away and look at her in disbelief. She pokes my cheek and laughs. "We need to work you weirdo!" she says taking out her book. I get my book and look at it. I don't like this book. No one likes this book. We are read Anne Frank. I mean come on we read it when we were in 8th grade! I look at Angel. She is working on the reading part and I am wroting on the writing part. Pull out my phone because I have the book on my phone, the reason why it's on my phone is because I would lose the book but not my phone. I read the stuff I had to read and I started writing.

Angel and I walk out of the class. We have free period today. "So what do you want to do on this free period?" I ask Angel who seems kinda out of it. "Are you okay Angel?" She looked at me and nodded. "I think I am going to just walk around." she said and walked away. Why did she walk away? I hear someone coming. "Hey Luke can I talk to you?" Kyri's happy voice rings out. I turn around and see Ashton is with her. "Um, sure." I say walking with Kyri and Ashton. "Now Luke, I think you should tell me why you were looking at Ashton." Kyri said and Ashton pushed her aside. "Or you can take your beating now?" Ashton said getting close to me. I feel weak because of him. I can't speak, all I can do is fall on my knee's. I hear Angel scream at Ashton. "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HIM!!" Angel yells and I hear Kyri scream. I look up and Angel is on top of Kyri with her fist balled up about to hit her. "ANGEL DON'T HIT HER!!!" I scream and Angel looks at me and gets off of her. I stand up and look Ashton in the eyes. Ashton gives me a evil grin and than he punchs me in the jaw. I fall backwards and land on my back. "Come on Kyri." Ashton says and walks away. I look at Angel and she looks at me and shakes her head. "Why didn't you tell me that Ashton was bulling you?" she asked and I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know Angel." I say and began to sit up. Angel stands up and helps me up. "Next time boy I ain't going help!" she said and laughed. I known she was kinding.
