Chapter 2

Ashton's pov:

I wake up to the voice of my beautiful best friend talking on her phone. I recall a couple of I love you's and I miss you's. I never heard Kyri say that kind of stuff, well only to her mum and dad. She moved out of her mum's when she was 16, now she lives with me. I am 18 going on 19, I felled a grade so that is why I am in grade 12. Kyri is 17 going on 18 today, oh how she is gorgeous, with her perfect dirty blonde hair and her smile, her eyes change colours. "Kyri? Who are you talking to?" I ask sitting up. Her eyes widen. "Um, I got to go. Love you bye." she said hanging up the phone. "My mum." She smiled and I known she was lieing but its her life, I ain't going to bug her about everyone she talks to. I stand up and her face goes beet red. "Why?" I say looking at her and than I looked down and saw I was in my boxers. "Um, I think I will go now." she said standing up only to fall the bed. I laugh at her and she gets up and walks by me and slaps me hard on the ass. "Ow!! What was that for?" I say trying not to laugh. She turns around and laughs. "Because you laughed at me!" she said and stormed out of my room. I walk over to the door and hear her shut her door and I close mine. I hear her squeal in happiness. "WHY SO HAPPY OVER THERE?" I yell and I hear a knock on my door, so i quickly change my boxers and pull a pair of jeans on. "Come in" I say and Kyri walks in with a book in her hand. "I see you got my birthday gift." She jumps up and down like a kid at Christmas and hugs the crap out of me. "I love it! Ashton how did you know I wanted it? I never told you." she said and looked at it with her beautiful greenish-blue eyes. "Because I heard you talking with my mum about it silly." I say and she has tears in her eyes. "I love it! Thank you Ashton! I love you!" she said crying and I pull her into a hug. "I love you too, and no need for a thanks. You have done so much for me so yeah." I say about to cry myself. She is my best friend for 12 years now. We became friends on her 6th birthday party. She invited me and she didn't even know me. That was the best day of life. "Well I think I am done crying. So get dressed I will be in the bathroom putting makeup on." she said and was about to walk away but I grab her hand. "Please no makeup. It's your birthday!" I say and she sighs meaning she won't wear makeup. She walked out and run downstairs. I grab my shirt and button it up. I run downstairs and put on my old pair of All Stars. I walk out the door with Kyri. I feel Kyri's small hand link with my hand. "Why?" I ask looking at her and she smiles. "I have to tell you something and I don't want you to get mad." She says as we walk down the street. "Go on tell me. I promise not to get mad." I say looking at her and she is thinking. "Well, you remember Ed Sheeran? The guy that is friends with Luke." she questioned and looked at the ground. Yeah of course I remember him, we use to be friends till he left me for Luke. "Yeah, why?" I asked unsure I want to know. "Well, I kinda dating him." she says and my got wide. I feel like I was getting hurt all over again! "ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE ME TOO?" I scream at her and let go of her hand. "N-no Ash-" I cut her off by grabbing her arm and she crys out in pain. "Ashton can you please let go?" she says in tears which only makes me pull her close. I see the pain in her eyes. "Ash please." she says using her free hand to rub my face. I let go and look down. "Kyri I am so sorry. I just didn't want to be left again." I said and I felt her hug me. "I would never leave my best friend." she said and pulled my chain up and kissed my cheek. She grabs my hand again and pulls me to the parking lot of the school.

We walk in and Kyri is all smiles again. I feel so bad now! Kyri walks into class and I wait a couple of minutes. I hear Kyri say hi to Luke. So I walk in and sit down next to him. "So Luke. How are you and your little boyfriend doing? I didn't see him walk in this morning." I say and grin at him and he just looks at me. He was not that bad looking. I only bully him because he took my friend. I mean if I didn't bully Luke I wouldn't feel this way for him. I really like him because he is so cute. What am I saying. I can't like someone I bully. Or can I? I don't know. "Hello?" I say. "He ain't my boyfriend, he is my friend." Luke says and I laugh at him and turned to look at the teacher. I see Kyri smiling and working out a word problem. I hate myself right now for what I did to her. I take out a peice of paper and write down 'Meet me in the bathroom before lunch.' The bell rings and it seems I have a lot of home work again. I am about to walk out the door and there is Luke. I have to do something or people will think something. I push Luke and say, "Wow! Luke next time why don't you move instead of standing in my way." I walk pass him and put the note in his hand. I walk on and Kyri stops me. "What did you just put in his hand?" she asked putting her hands on her hips. I smile at how cute she was being. "A note, Kyri it's just a note." I said and she let out a squeal. "What did it say?" she asked all happy. "What do you think it said?" I ask her giving her the look. She sighed and walked away to her reading class. I think I am going to wag class today. I walk outside and sit down under the tree. I pull out my phone and go onto Facebook. I have an inbox, its from my fan. As I call her, she loves my music, I am trying to start a band but that ain't working out for me. Kyri won't join me because she says she can't sing.

Time went by fast and now I have free period so I go in and find Kyri. "Hey!" she says and hugs me. "Hi." I say and pulled away and saw Luke and Angel walk out of their reading class. I tell Kyri that Luke just looked at me this morning when I said that to him. Of course she is going to ask him if she can talk to him. He said yes and we walked a little and than Kyri popped it out of no where. "Now Luke, I think you should tell me why you were looking at Ashton." Kyri said and I couldn't help it. I push Kyri to the side. "Or you can take your beating now?" I say moving close to him and he falls to his knee's. I was so upset and confused I didn't hear what Angel said, but I hear Kyri scream. I turn around and Angel is on top of Kyri and I hear Luke say, "ANGEL DON'T HIT HER!!!" Angel listens and gets off her. Luke looks me in the eyes. I give him an evil grin and than punched him the jaw. "Come on Kyri." I say and walk away. "Ashton, why did you do that?" Kyri asked grabbing my hand. "I only did it because that bitch was going to hit you!" I say and punch the locker next to her. She screams. "I think you need time to cool down and not try to punch your best friend, and Angel isn't a bitch, she was only protecting her best friend." Kyri says with tears in her eyes and runs away crying. Damn it! There I go again hurting her feelings and almost hit her...I don't want to hit her, I want to hug her.

I find Kyri crying at her locker. "Hey Kyri-Boo?" I say sitting next to her and she looks at me. "What?" she says and wipes away her tears. "I am so sorry. I didn't mean anything I have done to you." I said looking down and I feel her warm hand on my hand. "I know Ash. Just know that I love you no matter what." she said and than it comes to me she doesn't know. "I love you too. So guess what." I say smiling at her. "Your bi." she says with a big smile. I look at her and grin. "Yeah, how did you know?" I ask kinda scared to know. "Well lets see here. I live with you and I hear everything that comes out of bedroom." she said and poked my cheek. I blush so many different colors of red. "What am I going to do with you?" I ask her while poking her side. She jumps and says, "Well if I wasn't here you would be a lonely old creep!" She laughed and I stood up and help her up. I just hug her and hold it.
