RECAP FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T WANT TO READ THE OTHER CHAPTER:
So, basically, we find out that Galaxybrine killed Herder and then she took him to the basement where Tommy had to hide from her but it failed and she practically killed him. He's still alive (duh) but he's really, really hurt. Okay? We good?
Good.

TOMMY'S POV:
I'll be honest with you- I never really understood the term bloodbath until now. Why? BECAUSE I AM LITERALLY LAYING IN THE STUFF. It's a good thing I'm not one of those people who faints every time they see it.
I look up at the ceiling... or is it the sky? It's all weird and foggy... I look around myself. Am I even in the dog crate anymore? Where am I...
The ground around Gameknight999 faded and disappeared into nothingness. He wasn't lying in the crate anymore... instead, he was lying on the soft grass, in a foggy world that wasn't his own... he sat up and put his hand on his chest and felt where Galaxybrine had hurt him. The pain was still there and still as strong as ever, but the actual wound was gone, and so was the blood. Where was he...?
As his vision came back into focus, he realized where he was.
He was in the Land of Dreams.
Of course! He hadn't thought of that at first. But now it made sense. He hadn't known he was able to access the Land of Dreams in the physical world. He stood up and looked around. There was fog. A lot of fog. A few occasional trees dotting the landscape. But other than that, there was just nothingness.
He started walking. He didn't know where he was walking to, he just walked. It was nice to be here, in such a peaceful place. He hadn't experienced this kind of peace in a long while. Even though he had been in the Land of Dreams before, sometimes it wasn't as quiet as this.
And that fact made him remember something. Usually, when he was here, someone else was, too. Was he alone?
Of course not.
"Gameknight?" a voice asked. "What are you doing here?"
"Hunter?"
Gameknight turned around, and there was Hunter, staring at him.
"What are you doing here?" she asked again.
"I don't know," replied Gameknight. "What are you doing here?"
"Same," Hunter said. "No clue. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Gameknight said.
Hunter walked closer to him. "I have some sad news," she said. "After Galaxybrine took you to the basement and did all of that horrible stuff to you, she did something."
"What did she do?" Gameknight asked, moving closer to her.
"Oh, Gameknight!" Hunter ran up to him and hugged him as tightly as she could. "I'm so, so sorry about this... Herobrine came out of Bryne's body and he- he-"
"What?" Gameknight was scared now. "Hunter, tell me. What did he do?"
"Gameknight, he- he killed Bryne."
The news hit him like a slap to the face. He started sweating and panting. Was it possible to get a heart attack when you're dreaming? But he wasn't dreaming... Hunter was delivering real-life news, news of an event that wasn't a dream, but something that had happened in reality. A tear slid down his cheek as he collapsed into Hunter's arms, sobbing harder than he ever had before. He couldn't believe that Bryne was dead... there was so much she and him had survived before, why had she died now.
"Hunter... how did he do it?" Gameknight whispered. "How did Herobrine kill her?"
"I don't know," Hunter said. "He just said, 'I don't need you anymore,' and he waved his hand. Her eyes closed and she stopped breathing five minutes later. But she said something before she died."
"What did she say?" Gameknight asked, looking up.
"She told me to tell you not to cry for her," Hunter said, also beginning to cry. "She wants you to know that her death could've been a lot more painful than it was and that she'll be a lot happier with Owen, Tyler, your family, and her parents. She said to tell you that you need to keep fighting and that you shouldn't let the pain of her death affect you and cause you to fail. She needs you to stay strong."
"But I can't," Gameknight said, falling to his knees. "I can't do it anymore. I won't fight anymore. Every time I try, I fail. Think of how many people have died because of me. Owen, Tyler, Bryne, Jenny, my parents... and all the people in Minecraft who died fighting for me. It's my fault they're all dead now. I can't let anyone else die for me. I'd rather turn myself in..."
...turn myself in...
"Hunter... I'm going to let Herobrine kill me," Gameknight said.
Hunter looked appalled. "No- Gameknight, you can't," she said, looking panicked. "You can't do that. He'll destroy everything. You were the only one who ever tried to stop him. Without you..."
"It won't be like that," Gameknight said. "People will keep fighting. Once I die, I'm going to need you to spread the word that people need to fight against him. I know people who would do anything to get a chance to fight him." He smiled as she remembered Kelsea, the girl who he had met at the hotel in Washington, D.C. "I know this girl named Kelsea Carson. She has a whole club of people who would want to fight. Get them. And remember, you still have Isabella, who was so powerful, she took away his immortal abilities. Plus, you don't need to actually kill him. You can just send him back into Minecraft and lock him somewhere."
Hunter still wasn't convinced.
"Listen, you can do this," Gameknight continued. "You are one of the strongest girls I know. Remember how well you fought after Stitcher was turned to End Stone? You channeled your anger to fight the best you've ever have before. Do that now."
Hunter smiled a weak smile. "Oh, Gameknight, it's not that," she said. "It's just... if you're going to kill yourself, I am too."
"What?" Gameknight gasped. "Hunter, you can't-"
"Yes, I can, and you can't stop me," she said. "If you are, then I will. You won't have to die alone."
"Hunter, I-" Gameknight began, but before he could finish his sentence, Hunter grabbed his face and kissed him on the forehead.
Gameknight felt his cheeks reddening. "What was that for?" he asked, not rudely.
"You looked like you needed it," Hunter said, blushing even harder.
Then, Gameknight smiled.
"I did," he said. "I really did."
The two of them grabbed each other and kissed again, this time for real, and they knew, it would be a long time before they left each other.
