Micheal's Side Prologue

It was another day for Micheal. everything was dull and pointless. he lived alone, his parents were always gone, he hasn't seen them for months, Micheal never interacted with anyone because it was plain and simple- Nobody liked him.

His school days consisted of Bullying, Scars, Anger, Loneliness, anything that could be negative, Micheal had dealt with it. The Filipino boy pushed his glasses up to the bridge of his nose as he was walking to the front gates of school, his head low and subtle, it was easier that way. A couple bullies were across the way. And- that scared him, he tenses as he evaded any way to get to them, it was easier that way. but of course as every day, they showed up, grabbing Micheal's backpack and slinging them back.

"Hey baby boy where you goin'?" The tallest one sneered- That was Daniel, but for his friends, he was Danny. he was tall with brown slicked hair and wearing nothing but the best Adidas clothing.

"Hey Danny maybe you should take him out for a spin~ since you're such good friends and all~" The blonde with a crop top wearing some acid washed jeans perked in. Usually she wasn't there, but she was Danny's Girlfriend, and of course they were together whenever Danny was in a 'good' mood.

"Relax Clair, I ain't taking a rat to any car" He shoved the boy down into the pavement and laughed with a couple boys that were there, Then swiftly took Clair around her hip and walked off with the gang.

Micheal shakily stood up and adjusted his now bent glasses, taking them off and putting on a backup pair, its like he was planning that to happen. The boy reached his class, then the end of the day, he had gotten new scabs that caused the palms of his hands turn rough. and honestly, he was ready to end it today, it was too much, so, he decided to have a day of his own, a 'happy' day.

The dark haired boy walked to the local 7/11 shop and bought the usual slushie combination. Micheal figured that the park would be a nice place to go to and he headed in that direction.

Micheal sat on the grass and looked to the sunset, letting the song captivate his brain, numbing nearly everything as his Amber eyes watered. More and more as he stared at the sky, his thoughts swelled, nobody would miss him, he literally wouldn't have anybody mourn. his parents wouldn't know for a couple months, the bullies would be overjoyed, Micheal never had friends. he was so ready to delete himself, like a character in a video game. if only it was that easy.

Micheal's teary eyes looked to the sudden movement in the corner of his eye. and his whole thought process literally stopped, along with him holding his breath out of complete shock.

It was...a tiny- human? It didn't look like a doll. and it just blinked! Micheal was scared, curious, and of all things, he didn't believe it was actually there. He saw the tiny human flinch and hide down in what seemed like a tree root. it must be scared. Micheal slowly looked back to the sky and thought about it. it looked frightened, so he decided to hum an old song he liked, something low, and soft to maybe comfort it? even if it might have been a figment of his imagination.

Sure enough the longer Micheal sang, the closer the tiny figure got, it looked like..a boy, but he couldn't judge. and he couldn't get a clear look because Micheal didn't want to directly look at it- in fear of scaring this little person.

and soon enough it was crawling inside his pocket. Micheal could feel it's tiny hands against his scabs, it felt like an ice pack honestly. the tiny guy must be cold. After a couple minutes, the movement stopped, which confused him. he slowly peered down to see it was asleep in his palm. Micheal didn't know what to do...leave it here? Take it home? wake it up? he bit his bottom lip as he slowly stood up and headed home. And for once- suicide wasn't on his mind. He felt concern for another living thing. and he knew he had to care for it..hopefully.

Micheal made his way home and grabbed a shoe box, with a beanie and a couple of clean socks to make a somewhat comfortable room for him. and the little guy seemed happy really. comfortable even. this made Micheal's heart swell a bit, his broken heart felt a tiny bit of healing in that moment, and even if this small creature didn't like him in the end he would be okay with that. but at least it was safe for now.
