I've always heard of teenagers going to parties and having the best time ever, but I don't think parties are all they're cracked up to be. In fact, I think they're severely overrated.

"COOOOOOOOONRAAAAAAAAD!"
I jump as Austin's voice echoes through the large house. I let out a small laugh as I trot out of my room to go greet them.
I'm stopped by Michael standing a few feet away with a quirked brow. "Who the hell is here?" He asks in a condescending tone, as if I'm not allowed to have people over.
"Some friends of mine," I say, shrugging nonchalantly.
"You have friends?" He asks with a bitter laugh.
I scowl at him. He's much different than the guy I was with earlier today. He smirks at me, and we stand there for a moment simply looking at each other, daring one another to say something.
"Yo, meh bitch," Austin calls out strutting up the stairs with Blake in tow.
I feel an amused smile form on my face as the two approach. Austin is wearing a blue v-neck T-shirt and black leather jacket with his blue gloves and tight fitting black jeans. He looks hot with his messily styled blue hair and choice in clothes. Blake is wearing a red version of Austin's outfit, minus the gloves.
They look, dare I say it, sexy.
"Damn," Blake comments. "You really have never been to a party before." He gestures to my outfit of jeans and a sweatshirt.
I roll my eyes. "Well, let's get me ready, then." I start walking back towards my room, but I don't miss the huff Michael makes before he returns to his own quarters.
What's with him?
"Now," Austin says, clapping his hands together, "do you want to get laid?"
I choke on my own breathing and double over whilst holding my throat. "What the actual fuck?" I ask, trying to breathe through my shock.
Austin grins. "I'm just messing with you." Blake rolls his eyes at the two of us and plops down onto my bed.
I shake my head and pull up my closet hologram, the one that displays everything in my wardrobe. Austin excitedly pushes me aside and begins to scroll through my clothing options. I sit down next to Blake as little blue over there mumbles to himself about colors and styles.
"So," Blake begins, "this may sound kind of weird, but how do you impress a guy that doesn't know you exist?" I turn to the redhead in surprise. He's blushing deeply, the blue standing out on his mostly red appearance.
I shrug. "Depends on who you're trying to impress."
Blake opens his mouth as if to say something, but Austin beats him to it. "Blake's got a thing for some human guy at our school. One of the jocks."
Blake groans and rubs his eyes with his palms underneath his glasses. He must really like this guy.
"I'm sure that, if it's meant to be, it'll happen eventually. Don't worry about it so much." I smile at him and pat his shoulder kindly.
He smiles up at me sadly. "He's right, Blake," Austin says. "Don't force fate."
I nearly scoff at the seriousness of Austin's tone. It doesn't really fit him. He's always so idiotic. It's weird seeing him without that stupid dimply smile, but it returns soon enough, making the room feel lighthearted again.
"Okay, I've got it!" Austin proclaims, startling Blake and me.
He hits a button on the hologram and clothes are pulled out from the wall by robotic arms. Did I mention how awesome this house is?
