i. call yourself a monster as you reminisce about the blood you've spilled for your endless vendetta. the bullets you fire take more than people's lives, it gnaws at your shattered soul, chips away at what little humanity you have left when the world spat you back out from hell. so call yourself a monster. say it until everyone around you believes it, too.
ii. call yourself a monster as you kill kill kill your way through this city poisoned by bad attempting to cleanse it once and for all. but your first instinct is to kill, like a wild animal, some kind of raging beast, a monster ( maybe you are ) and this city can only see you as its villain. you are no hero. just a rogue vigilante with bullets too much.
iii. call yourself a monster when the people around you die and they die because of you. let their fallen lives stain your already dripping red conscious, let their deaths be your trigger point. you call yourself a monster, and they finally believe you.
iv. you can barely call yourself a monster as her gentle touch caresses the scars upon more than just the surface. it feels like she could sanctify you with a simple glance, but don't be mistaken. she is no angel, far from, but within your kaleidoscope eyes she is everything good in your life. you would die for her. ( she would die for you, too. )
v. monsters are incapable of love, she tells you when you try and try to push her away — far away from you, from the monster inside. everyone around you dies, and you would spiral out of control if she dies, so you rage and kill until she, too, can see the monster inside.
vi. monsters are incapable of love, but you. you love that girl more than anything. doesn't that make you anything but a monster?
— note first thing first, i'm sorry if this seems vague. i kind of wanted to publish this but decided against it because i wasn't sure about the plot. i did post the quote on tumblr, so if you find it there that's me yay. let me explain my thoughts for this story, though!
1. so this is not the girl meets boy love story, far from. i originally had it that they met through the fact she took a bullet for one of frank's targets and he had to stitch her up, but that's up to you! it can totally be casual at a coffee shop or something, or she finds out he's looking into her organization becaaaaaause drum roll....
2. i had a strong ass female character in mind, all tangled up with the japanse mafia. could be in a bad way, but would make for an interesting dynamic if she's voluntarily involved. she's also highly intelligent and knows how to hold herself in a fight. however, some of her downfalls are her recklessness, definitely her short temper and foul mouth. so something that could be an option is that she goes after frank because she found out he's been looking into them etc.
3. so the dynamic between them is very much her trying to slip past his walls and trying to earn his trust and him pushing her away constantly. she's not a bad person, and she wants to help him (depending on where u place this story) either find out who killed his family or push past the fact that billy was responsible as well. i just want to point out that frank has a tendency to push people away, so you should definitely keep that up. it's also focused on frank's self-loathing, his guilt, and just his way of life.
4. it's more of a general plot thing, not any specifics at all so feel free to lead this any way you like!
