Civil Sire was never one to believe in the preternatural — in the beings that could not be explained through science. She kept her beliefs close to heart and lived by the words of her mother: Never trust a vampire.
Though, it appeared that her world first came crashing down when a woman by the name of Lily took her in after the death of her mother and, eventually, turned her into the very creature that she had been advised to kill on sight.
During the reign of the great hunter Rayna Cruz, in which she despised Lily and the Heretics she stood behind, Civil was struck by her sword and suffered a great deal of damage to her eardrums. That night, the night of terrors and sadistic humans, Civil Sire lost her hope for humanity and everything in between — lost her hope for the undead, for the living, and especially for the hunter she once was.
Civil Sire was deaf, and there was no one there to put an end to the madness that came with it.
After a century of getting used to her injury and finally finding peace within herself, she fled from the Heretics with one plan in mind: Killing Rayna Cruz. However, once she reached Mystic Falls, a blonde woman full of pep captured her attention, and she found herself falling harder than ever, the mission she had once obsessed over fading away and being replaced by a greater grace: love.
And though these two were absolutely captivated with one another, a darker truth in shape of a person lingering in the distant future clung to the back of their minds, and they would soon be faced with a greater chaos: the return of Rayna Cruz.

extra. i'm sorry this is highkey shit but i was just trying my best to have the main points of the plot out there. - if you wanna change civil's fc, i'd prefer it if it remained a woc because we have little to no representation on the vampire diaries. - i know the whole rayna cruz fiasco was really annoying, and you can change the storyline if you don't particularly like that, but please talk to me before you do! civil must be attacked by rayna in order to be a deaf vampire but she doesn't have to be determined to kill her.
