Charlie and I stepped into Williams shop and looked around in confusion.

"Well well well, I haven't seen you two for days. Thought you might have kicked the bucket Bucket." William jokes.

"Are you leaving?" Charlie asked, voicing the question I couldn't bear to ask.

"All the chocolates gone i'm closing up. Every last bonbon, and marshmallow chew in the shop. SOLD! Isn't that wonderful." He smiled.

"I suppose," I answered my voice coming out small.

"There's no suppose about it. That Willy Wonka is a marketing genius If I do say so myself." He responded tossing his rag onto the counter. "Here, grab that broom. Help me sweep up," He directed at Charlie.

Charlie nodded and began to help as I just stood in the doorway, processing my emotions....The one thing I knew for sure was that I didn't want this man to leave. He had captured a part of my heart and I knew he wasn't going to be giving it back.

"What do you think he's like?" Charlie asked.

"Willy Wonka? Well how should I know?" William asked, taking the money from the register and putting it into his bag.

"I mean, what does he do all day. Does he write all his ideas down in a scrapbook? Does he sit all day in class and just day dream? Well, not class I suppose because he doesn't go to school does he. But does he spend his lunch breaks just mixing things up in cups just to see how they taste. How does he do it! What happens in that factory," Charlie rambled as he swept, his voice trailing off into a whine.

"Well there's still one chance left." William encouraged.

"Not for me," Charlie sighed.

"Oh Bucket, dont be disconcelete. You've been a witness to history. One day this will make a great story." William said earnestly.

"Well, it's been nice knowing ya.," William said as he flipped the open sign to closed.

We locked eyes and I felt the tears begin to well up in my own, I looked away before any could fall.

I heard him take a deep breath before he addressed Charlie again.

"So long

Bucket. Remember time waits for no man. Don't carp and seize the perdiams. Goodnight," He addressed and walked off shooting me one last glance.

I felt my heart pound in my chest as I watched him leave. I knew I had to do something...Anything. I whipped around and knelt down next to Charlie.

"I'll be right back," I stated simply before I ran off after William.

I spotted him halfway down the road, a small smile on his lips.

I slowed to a walk and gave him a small smile in return.

"I knew you'd chase me," He teased good heartedly.

I huffed out a small laugh.

"You think i'd let you leave without saying goodbye," I said.

"Never," He said, his eyes clouded with emotion.

"Look, um...Here," I reached behind my neck and unclasped my locket, and placed it in his hand.

"Olivianna, I can't take this," He said.

I closed his fist around it and looked anywhere but his face.

"I want you to have it. That way you...you dont forget about me," I said smally.

He tilted my chin up and forced me to look at him.

"I could never forget you Olivianna," He whispered.

I blushed brightly and smiled. He leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to my lips.

"Never," He reiterated.

He slipped the chain over his head and tucked it into his coat and shirt.

"We will see eachother again. I promise," He said, cupping my cheek.

"I cannot wait," I whispered, a tear falling from my eyes.

"Until then," He whispered kissing me once more before we headed our separate ways.
