Enjoy. Please don't kill me because it's short. I can't stop listening to this song.

Lining up my shot, I threw the dart which arced towards the board. They never said there were any rules. Using my powers I made sure the darts hit in the centre circle to insure we had Chinese. It's my go to comfort food and I like how huge the portions are.

The others all threw accept Mr. 'Merica man because he couldn't decide what he wanted. In the end it was between me and Clint who gave in because he knew how pointless it was. Both of us were perfect shots, well, I had a little help but we would go on all night at this rate. If it came down to it next time I'll let him decide.

"Chinese it is, does anyone have a menu?" I ask looking around the packed room of heroes. Though I was now one of them technically, I still felt out of place. I smiled. It was a weak attempt to cover up how I really felt and a trick I mastered long ago.

It took us thirty minutes in total to decide what we were all having and then something like ten minutes to make the call because we ordered so much. I wonder how many delivery people were going to come Vision and Wanda weren't staying as they had to catch a plane. Both of them had decided to travel to gain some more normal life experiences and they were heading for England.

When the food finally arrived it was time for Wanda and Vision to so which is probably why they didn't want food. They were going on a private jet, lent from a certain billionaire, so they could get fancy expensive food on the way. The others sat down and began to talk about things, normal stuff like films, books, food and work. Naturally I sat away from the others and remained silent.

I had nothing in common with these people that I knew of and I didn't want to get attached to anyone, not again. All of this can be ripped away easily so I'll try and eat as much as possible while the food is free. While I'm here I'm also going to try to learn everything this lot can teach me. Science, fighting, weapons, everything.

Maybe Tony and Bruce can take a blood sample and find out how and why I have my powers. If so, I'll have to make sure nothing is sent to Shield. I don't trust Fury. He leads a spy organisation, he lie for a living and contains people he thinks are too dangerous.

"Why did you run?" Natasha asked suddenly. I looked up confused for a second before realising she was talking to me.

"I pickpocketed a billionaire who happened to be a superhero, I'm not stupid. If I stuck around I would be rotting in a prison cell for the rest of my life." Shrugging, I carried on eating as much as I could fit in my face.

While the others looked slightly disgusted Thor looked at me with awe. This was strange coming from anyone but it was stranger coming from a god. It's strange just sitting here in the same room as a god. He had so much power, he was heir to the throne to an entire planet yet here he sat. A god decided to live with humans.

"Lady Lyra, how do you manage to eat that much food in one mouthful. It is a true talent." Blushing slightly, I try to stop myself from laughing. Life would be so much better is everyone talked like him.

"I can unhinge my jaw like a snake to consume large amounts of food." I say kidding but it seemed as if he was taking me entirely seriously. "It's a joke Thor, I just have an amazing ability. With great power comes great responsibility. I should enter competitive eating contests but I want to give others a fair chance."

He nods and I know he believed every word I said. "You should give the mortals a chance." This is the longest conversation I've had in months with people and it made me feel a little weird.

"Thanks for everything but social interaction makes me feel weird." I say as I go to leave to my room which Tony showed me during the tour of the tower. "I'm going to hit the hay. Goodnight."

Walking out the room before anyone could say anything I ran as fast as I could to my designated area and shut the door. Then I checked the room for cameras and microphone which I threw out of the window once I had found before curling up on the bed. It had been so long since I slept in a real bed that felt like I was floating on a cloud. Almost instantly I was asleep.
