Chapter 7

At around 12:00 pm I went to my room and called Cameron. I had to tell him about my brother.

Cameron: hey beautiful!

Avery: hey babe....

Cameron: you want to hang out today?

Avery: I can't I'm sorry. My older brother is here and we're going to the beach later.

Cameron: older brother? You never told me you had an older brother.

Avery: ohh..... his name Luke. He goes to college and he came to visit for a month.

Cameron: ok then... I'll call you later.

Avery: ok babe bye

Cameron: bye.

After I hanged up I got ready for the beach. I got a hot pink bathing suit with white sandals. I went downstairs and Luke was ready. I wanted some alone time with him. I got a water bottle from the fridge and went to the car.

Avery: so Luke do you have a girlfriend?

Luke: maybe.....

Avery: oh my gosh really who? I wanna see a picture!!

He showed me a picture of her. She had blond hair with hazel eyes. She was so pretty. Perfect for my brother.

Luke: her name is Madison. I met her in college. We've been together for almost 2 months.

Avery: why didn't you tell me! I thought we were still very close.

Luke: you haven't called me.

Avery: I know I'm sorry. I'm just very busy with school and stuff.

Luke: it's ok. We have this whole entire month to get even closer.

Avery: you are the best!

Ten minutes later we arrived at the beach. I loved to surf and I was so good at it. Luke also knew how to surf. For most of the time we were there we just surfed.

Around eight thirty we got our stuff and walked around the stores that were close by. We decided to get ice cream. I got rocky road and Luke got chocolate. We walked around for a few more minutes and then we went home.

The next morning I got ready for school. I took a shower and then picked out my outfit. I decided on plain jeans and pink shirt. I went downstairs for breakfast.

Luke: do want a ride to school.

Avery: yeah of course let me just get my backpack.

I got my books and my backpack. Before I left I got a granola bar so I wouldn't leave without an empty stomach.

Luke: so I called Madison last night.

Avery: cool what did she say?

Luke: I invited her to stay with us for a week. Is that okay with you?

Avery: what!! Of course she can stay with us. I can't wait to meet her.

Luke: when can I meet cameron? Huh...

Avery: uhh I don't know it's kinda to soon. We've only been dating for two weeks.

Luke: that's okay. Whenever you want to. Here we are have fun.

Avery: okay.

Luke: do you want me to pick you up later?

Avery: no I'm getting ice cream with Cameron. It's kind if our thing to get ice cream every Monday and Friday.

Luke: okay then see you at home.

Avery: okay bye I love you.

Luke: love you too sis. Bye.

Avery: bye.

Right after I said goodbye the bell rung. I went running to my locker. When I got to class, Cameron was already there.

Cameron: hey babe.

Avery: hey
