Chapter 8

Cameron: after we get ice cream you want to come over to my house we can have a movie night.
Avery: I'm sorry but I can't. I have to study for the chemistry test. After we get ice cream you have to drop me off.
Cameron: okay... What about Friday.
Avery: uhh... maybe.
Cameron: okay.
After class I went to my locker to get my books.
Hannah: hey Avery do want to hang out this afternoon?
Avery: no I can't, I'm getting ice cream with Cameron.
Hannah: you barley hang out with us anymore.
Avery: I'm sorry but I've been busy lately. My brother came and his girlfriend is coming soon and the test is coming up and Cameron. I've just been really busy.
Hannah: okay just tell me when we can.
Avery: okay
After I left I felt bad. She has been my best friend since elementary. I couldn't let her down. But I was busy maybe next week.
After the last period of the day Cameron and I went to get ice cream. We talked and laughed and then we left. He was dropping me off so I could study.
Cameron: can I study with you?
Avery: uhh.. Sure why not. But just for a little bit okay.
Cameron: okay.
When we got to my house he parked in the drive way because nobody was home.
We went into my room and I got my chemistry book out. We asked each other questions for a while until it became a make out session.
Then the door opened I heard my mom and Luke. I got off Cameron and then we started to ask questions again.
Cameron had leave a couple of minutes later. We went downstairs trying not to be seen.
Mom: Avery is that you.
But we did. She came out of the kitchen with a bright smile. Then Luke came.
Avery: hey.... this is Cameron my boyfriend, we were just studying for the chemistry test.
Mom: hi Cameron! It's nice to met you.
Cameron: it's nice to met you too.
It was pretty awkward standing there.
Avery: well he has to leave. Bye Cameron. I'll call you later.
Cameron: okay bye. It was nice to met you.
After Cameron left we went to the dinning room to eat dinner.
Mom: he's a nice kid.
Luke: just be careful.
Avery: I know.
When I finished dinner I went upstairs and took a shower. I put on my pjs and went to my bed. I grabbed my book and started to read. 10 minutes into the book, Luke came in and sat next to me.
Avery: what's up?
Luke: what's his name again?
Avery: Cameron Dallas.... why?
Luke: just wanted to know. You know if he brakes your heart I'll break his nose right.
Avery: why are you so over protective?
Luke: because you are my little sister and I don't want you to get hurt.
Avery: I'm not. Promise
Luke: okay. Goodnight.
Avery: goodnight.
