I lay there breathless on the floor as night begins to fall. I realize that there is no use in staying up all night. I would be punishing myself at that pointe. I climbed into the bed and covered myself up then slowly drifted off to sleep.

*Dream*

"Wayne? Are you there?" A faint voice asked me. I looked around and saw nothing but white walls surrounding me. Am I dead? I ask myself. I see a figure come out of the shadows. "Wayne, are you there?" The voice says again but this time its closer and stronger. "Y..yes." I answer. "Who is this?" I ask. "I am whoever you want me to be, love." The voice says. "I want my mother." I say. Then a figure came out of the shadows and became more clear. I could see my mother. I ran towards my mother to hug him, but he disappeared before my eyes. "Mum?!" I screamed out of confusion. "Where are you?" I asked. "You did it to yourself." Another voice said. I turned around and I saw my father sitting there looking angry at me. "Your the reason he left us." He said again. I got angry at him. "No! Your the reason he left, if you weren't such an asshole he would still be with us." I said. He stood up and walked toward me. "Well if your so perfect, why didn't he take you with him?" He said. I kept quiet because I knew he was right. "Exactly!" He said to me. I curled up into a ball and sat on the floor crying. The white walls all of a sudden turned black. The room no longer had a warm feeling, it was cold, dark and cold.

*End of Dream*

I woke up to see Daniel shaking me. I was breathing rather heavy. "Wayne, wake up! Are you okay?" He asked me. I've never been so glad and relieved to see Daniel. I got up and hugged him close. Daniel just held me in his arms and he stroked my head. "Are you alright then?" He asked. I shook my head to say no. I was not okay, I felt like shit. "Whats wrong?" He asked me. I released myself from his grip and I dried my eyes. "I hate my father." I said quietly whimpering. "Can you be my new father?" I asked him. He looked at me and smiled. "That was the plan all along." He said. "I'm sorry for being difficult." I said looking sad. Daniel pulled me into another hug. "Its going to be alright. As long as you listen, you should be fine." He said. Daniel felt warm, he felt like a warm blanket where nothing can hurt me, not even my father. He could never hurt me again. I sat with Daniel for a while until I started feeling better. I told him about my mother and my father and how I hated what my father did to my mother. I told him about what my father had done to me and how I hated him even more. Daniel seemed to feel pity for me. "Hey, its all going to be okay, how about we make me your legal guardian?" He said with a smile. My eyes lit up with joy. "I would love that." I said. "Well then, lets get going." He said as I followed him to his car. I followed him outside and I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw his icy blue eyes. "Hello Wayne, where were you this whole time?" He said. "D....dad?!" I said.
