Chapter 13

School was slow, I was just waiting until Mrs. Stonewall met my dads. After English class Mrs. Stonewall called me to her desk.

"I expect to meet your parents tonight, okay?"

"Yes." I replied solemnly. Nothing else happened at school after that.

The end of the day finally came, I was told to come back at 6:00, so I had time to go home and finish my homework. After what seemed like only an hour it was time to go.

"Don't be nervous Madison." Dad told me before we went into her office.

"Hello." My dads said putting their hands out to Mrs. Stonewall for a handshake, she shook their hands, but she seemed a bit shaken up.

"Well, I was informed I would be meeting with a mum and dad, Madison." She said sending me a look when she said my name.

"Well, you see, it's-." I was stopped by dad.

"I hope it's no problem, we're Madison's parents."

"Okay then." She didn't seem like she didn't like me having to dads, just a bit surprised. "Well it's a pleasure meeting you two."

"I'm Zayn."

"And I'm Liam."

"Hello Mrs. Stonewall." I squeaked out.

"Well, Madison's recent behavior in English class has been on the more unacceptable side, she's continually disrupted class and she's turned multiple assignments in late and half done." The rest of the meeting dragged on with my parents and Mrs. Stonewall taking about me while I was there, not soon enough it was over.

"It was a pleasure meeting you Anne." Dad said standing up.

"I hope Madison will be less of a problem in class, and I will make sure she turns in her assignments on time and done well." Papa said.

"Goodbye Mrs. Stonewall, see you in class tomorrow." What am I supposed to say to a teacher?

"You too Madison." I jogged back to the car after.

"That wasn't terrible, Madison." Papa said.

"She seems like a very nice women." Dad said. "Although there will be some consequences, you will not be able to use your phone for a week and you can't go anywhere for the weekend, besides, you'll be redoing all of the assignments you didn't finish." I groaned, this weekend was going to be the worst.

As promised, a couple months later Danielle met with papa and dad without me. It wasn't just because I had lied about her, I also thought both dads would enjoy just being with their old friend, not having to worry about me. I passed English, and no one else in the school found out about my dads. My life was back to normal.

A/N- This is the last chapter, but there IS an epilogue which I am going to post tomorrow :)
