Clarkes POV
It has been a few hours since the doctors last told us anything. Octavia came and went as time went by. Bell stayed with me even though I told him he could leave, but he resisted and stayed with me but eventually, we both dozed off. It was about midnight when I woke up.
The doctor that was keeping me up to date on my parents came towards me, with sadness all over her face. I knew what was coming. I hadn't even realized it but Bellamy was waking up and put his arm around me.
"Clarke...honey..I'm so sorry. Abby and Jake didn't make it. The doctors tried everything they could, but I'm so sorry....." She said. She said something after but I couldn't hear it. My mind blocked it out and all emotions were gone and ripped out.
It took a few minutes, but once I came back to reality I began to shake and cry. Bellamy just held me even tighter and whispered sweet nothings into my ear until I fell into a doze in his arms.
6 months later...
The feeling of losing both my parents hurt and it still hurts. The Blakes had been by my side ever since and I couldn't imagine life without them. Bellamy is the only one besides Octavia that I ever REALLY open up to. I even moved into their house and even began to go to school again. The Ark is the high school I now go to, but either way, I've distanced myself. Bell and O made me be more social and actually try to live a good life so they made me join their friend group and eventually made new friends, consisting of Finn, Jasper, Monty, Raven, Harper, and Nathan.
My whole life has changed but the one thing that keeps coming into my head is that it all happened for a reason.
