We walk back into my bedroom and start working on our projects again. "Should we go with Oliver?" Sam asks while typing on the computer. "Where?" I ask confused. "To California. To help him with his dad." Sam said still typing on her computer. "I don't know because we could get in serious trouble Sam." I say looking at her worried. "But he's are friend. Come on Ariel. He would do the same for us." Sam said looking up from her computer. "Alright but I need to text my dad and tell him were going to Oliver's" I say unpersuaded. "Alright I will get my bag." says Sam shutting down her computer.
We're in the car when I here a news report come on the radio. I turn it up to hear the news because it usually never comes on. ""There has been a fire on 3226 Oak Street near the old abandoned shoe factory. There is a route around the fire set up."" Then it goes off. "That's Oliver's house isn't it?" asks Sam with a concerned face. "Ya. It is."
We both look at each other with worried looks on our faces and Sam drives faster towards Oak Street.
