Chapter 1
"You never do anything right! You can't even fold a freakin towel!"
Her voice rang in her mind. Her mom didn't even seem to appreciate ANYHING she did. She knew her mom barely got to relax, but why act like this?
"You know what MOM? It would be nice If you at least appreciate something I do once in a while, 'cuz I do almost everything in this house and all you do is sit on the couch when you're home!" She said angrily.
She couldn't take this anymore. She NEEDED to get out of there. She got her purse and phone, and just as She was about to leave, her mom asked curiously,
"Where are you going?"
"I don't know.. But I'm leaving." said Jennifer. She rolled her eyes.
Expressionless, Her mom went went upstairs.
She couldn't even relax for a day at home. Her eldest daughter always had to do something wrong.
Jen was just about to go out the door when her little sister came up behind her and asked,
"Jen? Are you gonna come back?"
She didn't really want Jen to leave. They always had fun together, and she didn't like seeing Jen like this.
Jen turned around. She felt sympathy for her 6 year old siste. Jen gave her a hug then said,
"Of course I'll come back, Nikki. I won't ever leave you."
She brushed some hair out of her face, and kissed her forehead.
A huge grin appeared on Nikki's face and she gave Jen another hug. She was happy. She knew that Jen just needed to get out for a bit.
She ran up the stairs.
"BE SAFE!" She yelled.
Jen turned around once more, heading back to the door.
Then, She left. She had no idea where She was going, but She DEFINATELY wasn't gonna just stay home.
