Aaron puts on his school's baseball hat, a short sleeve shirt with a World of Warcraft logo on it and puts on basketball shorts. He gelled his hair into a cool style. He ate a quick breakfast then ran out the door to catch the bus. He caught it just in time. No seats available, so he has to sit with someone. He walks by people who are sitting by themselves and they put their bags next to them. He feels like he doesn't fit in. He sees the girl that he saved last night.

"Can I sit here?" Aaron asked softly.

"Sure" the girl was obviously startled..

Aaron sat down awkwardly and introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Aaron." He looked at the girl, expecting an immediate response, but nothing came from the girl's mouth. "Is something wrong?" Aaron asked confused.

"Sorry." She suddenly spoke, "My names Alex, it's just that something happened to me last night and it's got me spooked."

They sat in silence for the rest of the ride. Aaron stood up and started walking down the aisle. His feet hit the ground as he came off the bus.

"Wait," Alex's voice called out.

Aaron turned around, "Yeah?" He waited for her to catch up to him.

"I'm kinda new around here, so could you possibly show me to the front office?" She asked. "If you have to meet your friends, I totally understand."

Aaron shook his head. Friends? He had one friend, a friend that he has known his whole life. One friend and to Aaron that was enough. "Nah, he can wait. Here." Aaron started to walk away, "If you walk down this hall," He pointed so Alex could see which hallway he was talking about, " You'll see two big frosted glass doors." He turned to face her. She was a few inches shorter than Aaron

When he looked at her, he noticed a little strand of her hair falling into her very bright blue eyes. He cleared his throat, "that's the office."

She gave him a smile and thanked him and left before he could say anything. Aaron watched her disappear into the crowd of high school students.

"Yeah, no problem. " Aaron told himself since Alex left before he could say that.

Aaron went to his Biology class, they were learning about the next evolution of humans.

"Good morning class." The teacher says, greeting them. Alex walks in and stands next to the teacher.

"Oh class, this is our new student, Alex Feu. Lets make her feel welcome. Alex you can sit next to Aaron." Alex sits next to Aaron

"Hey Aaron haven't seen you in a while" Alex says sarcastically. "So what are we learning right now?"

"We are learning about the evolution of humans, and how a new species of humans are appearing."

"Thats kinda cool, do you think that is actually true?" Alex asks.

"I dont know but it could." He said mysteriously.

"Okay class, go to a microscope and use the tooth picks the get some cells off the insides of your cheeks." Ms. Loten spoke, "Careful not to stab yourself."

Aaron and Alex went to the same microscope. "You want to put your cells under it?"

"Sure." Aaron swabbed his mouth then put it on a slide. He slid in onto the stand.

Alex look at his and then looked at the one in the textbook photo. "It doesn't look right." She called the teacher over.

Ms. Loten looked though the eye piece, "Aaron are you sick?"

He shook his head.

"Hmm, maybe you just messed up." Ms. Loten said jokingly. She stepped away from the scope, "Alex you try."

He watched his partner swab her mouth. It still didn't look right. They went up to the teachers desk and look through her microscope. The other students started gathering around to see what the problem was with Aaron and Alex's slides. Aaron turned to look at the mob of students.

"Hey get off me!" Alex screams.

He turned around. She was gone. He quickly scanned the room. Aaron saw a person walking out the back classroom door. The man's coat had something on it, a pheonix. It was what the men last night had on their coats.

"Why do they keep going after her?" Aaron thought to himself.

The school was let out early for investigation of how the people got in and out of the school without being noticed.

Aarons best friend, Jack, and him sat in his room. Jack knew about his friend's secret life.

"I need to save her Jack, the people who attacked the night before school, that is the same people, they had the same Pheonix stitch on their coats." Aaron said, worried.

"How can you save her when you dont know where she is?" Jack said and crossed his arms.

"I'll do anything to find her." Aaron says ferociously.

"Wait, do you like her?"

Before Jack could get an answer, Aaron teleports out of the house.

He found himself in the biology class. He sees the guys previous teleportation.

Dust particles from the previous teleportation hung in the air. He goes near it and he gets teleported to a strange place. He sees the Phoenix symbol and realized that he got himself into some serious shit. He quickly transformed into his vigilante suit and ran around the corner to find Alex strapped to a chair.

"Who are you?" Alex's frightened face looked up at Aaron masked face.

"Dont worry, I am here to help you." Aaron bent down to untie her.

"Watch out!" She screams.

The people who took Alex start attacking Aaron but he was too quick for them. He teleported away from the punches and punches back.

Alex sat in the chair amazed. She starts to remember what Ms. Loten was talking about in class, the new species of human beings were fighting right in front of her eyes. The masked man was an example of them. Then a flash of light appears and all but Aaron is knocked out.

"Are you okay?" Aaron says worried.

"I'm fine but who were those guys?" Alex asks.

"They are a group of hunters called Pheonix. We need to figure out why they took you." Aaron says he untied her and took her hand.

They start walking, all of a sudden Aaron goes flying forward. His mask is thrown off but he didn't realize it until he turned around to see if Alex was alright.

"Aaron?!" Alex says in shock.
