Nate's pov:

"Are you fucking kidding me? You whined and fussed about me not telling Zack but yet you sit here and tell me you're scared to tell Chris about you being a werewolf! Hypocritic!" Alex exclaimed.

"Yeah but what if..."

"Yeah yeah, you get rejected like me." he mumbled.

"Alex, I didn't mean..."

"It like that. I know but don't let what happen to me scare you. It fucking sucks that Zack rejected me and I sit here all day wishing he loved me and my wolf but it's not happening. Listen, you're not me and Chris is not Zack. Just because it happened to me and our mates are friends doesn't mean Chris will reject you."

"It could though." I sighed.

"Well, he could also accept you." he argued.

I sighed and walked away from him. We could do that all day long but I don't feel like arguing.

"He's right, you know." Heather piped in as she suddenly walked up behind me.

I jumped and quickly turned around. I sneered at the laughing Heather.

"Must you always sneak up on people?" I groaned in frustration.

"Yeah, it's my thing." she shrugged.

I mumbled under my breath and rubbed my aching forehead. Heather laughed and slapped me on the back.

"Nate, stop worrying about it! Chris is a sweetheart and loves you to death. Besides, he turns eighteen in two weeks. He's almost not jailbait anymore!" she cheered.

"I hate you." I stated before walking away from her.

"We both know you don't!" she called after me.

I needed some space. My friends are driving me crazy! Can't they just understand and accept that I'm not ready? He is my mate and I will tell him when I please!

'It needs to be soon. I can't wait much longer. I need you to tell him before I snap and forcibly claim him. He needs to be claimed gently.' my wolf warned.

He's right. My friends are right. Everyone is right but me. I need to tell him. Chris deserves to know that the man he loves isn't really a man; he's a werewolf.

"Where are you taking me?" Chris giggled excitedly as I dragged him into the woods.

"Somewhere. Be patient." I chuckled as we were almost there.

"Fine." he grumbled, pouting slightly.

I shook my head at my sweet boy. He was so sweet and innocence but childish as hell! That's one of the many reasons why I love him though.

We walked the rest of the way in silence. When finally reached the destination, I smirked when Chris gasped.

"It's gorgeous out here!" Chris whispered as he bent down to touch the flowers.

"Yeah. It's one of my favorite spots in these woods."

"I can see why."

I smiled and grabbed his hands. He blushed softly as I crushed him into my chest and wrapped my arms around him. Chris snuggled into my abdomen and I tried not to laugh.

I still can't get over the fact that he only reaches up to directly under my pectorals. He apparently couldn't get comfortable snuggling with my stomach and reached his arms up. I picked him up and he wrapped around me like a little monkey.
