Chapter 1: The First Glance

Chris' pov:

After Melissa left, silence took over us.

Zack went into his own little world as he stared at the window and Amy slipped in her headphones.

Feeling bored, I also decided to look out the window.

There wasn't much to look at. Just cars filled with tired, grumpy men and women. I spotted a cute puppy being walked by its owner or more like it walking its owner. The sky was just brightening up as the sun decided it was finally time to come out and play. Luckily, we're almost at school.

I smiled as I saw the school sign in the distance. I love school! It's really nice there. My friends are there and the teachers are really nice. Plus, the food is delicious!

I'm not sure why people hate school. It's not that hard as long as you study and try your best! Also, if you act correctly, teachers adore you!

The bus lurched to a stop and kids rushed out the doors. For kids who don't wanna be here, they sure do rush off the bus and into the building.

I felt Amy get up and I decided to get up as well. I reached down to pick up my backpack full of needed school supplies and slung it over my shoulder. I went to stand up but I felt like I was being watched.

I quickly looked out the window and gasped as a handsome man stared back at me.

His caramel eyes showed confusion and something that made my insides quiver as he greedily looked over my face and what little of my body that showed. His shaggy brown hair was styled perfectly and looked so soft that I just wanted to run my hands through it.

I blushed as he licked his dark pink lips and continued to stare at me.

I would usually look away by now and feel extremely awkward but for some reason, I could look away and my heart pounded inside my chest. It was almost like I was captivated in his trance. His stare excited me.

Why do I feel this way? I never felt this way before. I've been too shy and awkward to accept any sort of romantic or lustful behavior from any one. Why am I encouraging them now?

A beautiful white haired woman walked next to him. She quickly followed his gaze up to me. The woman smirked at me before grabbing the man's arm and dragged him to the school's entrance. His eyes never left mine until the door shut.

A sudden wave of sadness washed over me. Wait, why am I sad? My heart ached inside my chest. Is it because he left?

I sighed and turned around to get up and leave. I could still feel my blush that refuse to leave my cheeks.

I noticed Zack standing there looking at me with a confusion and curious expression.

"I'm in love with just one look." I sighed before I could stop the words from leaving my mouth.

"Awww, Chrissy bear has a crush!" he mocked in a baby voice.

"Sh-h-shut up-p-p, jerk!" I whispered, stuttering like a fool.

"HURRY UP! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE." yelled Amy.

We quickly hurried off the bus and walked with Amy inside the old building.

I know it's short but I really like it so I didn't feel the need to add more to this chapter. Any who, now you know a little bit more about Chris! Ah, his sweet personality and cute innocence makes me wish he was real so I could be his best friend!
