Control: the power to influence or direct people's behaviour or the course of events.
We all have control over something. Not necessarily full control, but control none the less. It could be as little as what you're eating today, or something major, like running a company. But its still control
One of the hardest things to control is your emotions. No matter how much you suppress your emotions, there will always be a moment of silence where finally, you just break. You lose control over your emotions and break down to the point of no return.
At some point, your life takes a dramatic turn, something unexpected happens to you or someone you love. You lose focus and, instead of controlling your emotions, your emotions overpower you. You'll start to feel overwhelmed. Like everything is happening all at once. Like you need to take a step back, to gain back the control you just lost
Losing control is not always a bad thing. Sometimes, losing control is needed to take a step forward. Bottling up to much anger can cause you to lose focus of what is important and when you lose control, you finally begin to calm down. You are able to think logically about the situation at hand, and make the right decisions.
Sometimes, you may even have too much control over something, to the point where it controls you. Let's say your friend had something really bad happen to them that you witnessed, and they didn't want anyone to know about it. Some people choose to use that information against the other person, as blackmail of sorts. They control everything the other person does until eventually, the power within the control consumes them.
Control what is needed to be controlled, but do not let it control you. Only you can control yourself.
