Chapter 3: Calum's POV

We rolled up into Ariana's driveway. I grabbed the nicely wrapped box and a cute, little bag that held the perfume.

"You got this mate," Luke said as she looked straight into my eyes and shook my shoulder.

Ashton pushed my head a little.

"Yeah, man! Go get yourself an Ariana!"

I smiled and tried to step out of the car, but my exit was blocked. I looked up out of the door to see Michael staring down at me.

"Thank Nandos you got here, Cal! For a second I thought you forgot my present!"

He laughed and playfully pushed my shoulder.

Yep. Your present.

"Are you getting out of the car, mate? I've got a-"

He took the box out of my hand.

"Girly-looking box to give Ariana."

Luke was watching the conversation from the other side of the car while Ashton danced around the driveway.

"Well duh it's girly! Who the hell do you think she is, your dad?" Luke spoke.

Michael gave him a 'shut the fuck up before I smash your face' look. Luke rolled his eyes and went to get Ashton.

"Thanks, Cal. I owe you one."

He smiled and walked up the steps to the front door.

Owe me one? More like two, three.. seventeen.

I shamefully stepped out of the car and slammed the door. As I was walking towards the house, Ashton caught up with me.

"Wher- Where's the box?"

I heard a scream. It was Ariana.

"There is your answer, Ash."

I turned to see Ariana hugging Michael. He looked at me and gave me a thumbs-up. He spun her around a couple times and kissed and yep. I turned back around to see Ashton flicking off Michael. I laughed.

"There you go mate! Now let's try to make the best of the day with them, okay?"

I nodded and headed to greet Ariana.

"CAL!"

She ran and jumped into my arms. I loved it.

"Did you see the dress Mikey got me? It's the one I told you I wanted last weekend!"

Yep. Mikey got you.

"How couldn't I recognize it?" I put her down gently and faked a smile. Hopefully it wasn't noticeable.

She laughed.

"Yeah. Let's go inside, I got you boys some new video games!"

All three of the boys ran past me as I trailed behind.
