Chapter 4: Luke's POV

I grabbed a controller and plopped down on the couch next to Ashton.

"What's there to play?" I asked.

"Oh and what's there to eat?" Michael asked.

Ariana laughed and moved towards the kitchen,

"Ashton's got the video games covered. Mikey, I got you a pizza. Share it, okay?"

I turned to Ashton who was rummaging through a drawer.

"MARIOKART 8!"

He shoved the disc into the Wii and ran to the couch.

"4 players?" Michael asked.

I looked around for Calum, but he was nowhere to be found.

"2 for now. Unless Ariana wants to play. I'm going out to get Cal." I say as I rise from the couch and lay the the remote down.

Ariana finished pouring all of us glasses of lemonade, and rushed after me.

"Shouldn't you be playing video games?" I say.

"I suck at that game, haha. But hey, I wanted to talk to you," she replied.

She led me to a couch in the living room. I sat down, and so did she. Closer than expected.

"What's up?"

Ariana crawled her hand toward mine. What the actual fuck is going on..

"You're so cute, you know?"

She tipped my nose.

"Ariana.. What are you doing?"

"You're so sweet and adorable, but I'm just to scared to tell you," she said as she moved closer.

"Calum.. I am in love with you."

Shit.. Those lemonades were probably switched with her mother's liquor. Is that what Michael needs to do in order for her to 'love' him? That's pretty damn pathetic. I thought.

I jumped from the couch before she planted her lips on mine. She fell helplessly on the couch and seemed to be asleep.

But wait.. She just admitted she liked Cal! Not even 'like', more than that! She said she 'loved' him! I totally called it.. But how am I supposed to tell him Michael got her drunk? Ugh. I'll just bring her to her room to rest.

I picked Ariana up from the couch and went up to her room. I kicked open the door to see Calum sitting on her bed. He was shocked.

"Luke.. What the hell, mate?"

He was holding the bag where the perfume was.

Oh crap.. This looked much worse in Calum's perspective than mine.

"Cal, it's not wha-"

"Fuck off, Robert."

He stormed out of the room.

Just let him cool off.. It's been quite an afternoon for him.

I put Ariana down on her bed. I ran my fingers through my hair and took a deep breath.

"Just saying, but Calum loves you too," I whispered towards Ariana.

I turned to leave the room, but stepped on something unusual. I looked down and saw the perfume that must've rolled out of that bag. I picked it up.

Thank god I didn't break it..

I put the perfume on the nightstand next to her bed and propped up the card that Calum signed.

This ought to clear it up.

I dusted off my hands and left the room.
