Sherlock started to walk away from Moriarty, who looked at him both angry and guilty. Sherlock clutched onto his wrist. He would not tell John what happened. He wouldn't even show him it until the bruising had gone down.

"Don't walk away from me!" Moriarty's lips curled into a snarl.

"Goodbye" Sherlock said. "And forget about the wrist, it doesn't matter."

Sherlock's lack of care made Jim angrier. He growled and grabbed Sherlock, pushing him into a wall. He pinned him there.

"I told you not to walk away" He barked.

Sherlock's eyes were wide open. He hadn't expected to suddenly be pinned.

"What do you want from me?" Sherlock asked. Jim didn't know. He couldn't answer. He just wanted to be close to him... Thats what he thought anyway.

Sherlock struggled under his grip, trying desperately to get free.

"How can you forgive me so easily? I just broke your wrist." He clenched his teeth together and looked at Sherlock's hand breifly then looked back at him.

"I don't care about the wrist." He said.

Jim closed his eyes. How could Sherlock be so calm right now? He was being pinned to the wall by a murdering criminal. Someone who had- just over 24 hours ago- had guns pointing at him and was prepared to kill him.

"What do you care about? Why are you so... calm? I could kill you right here." Jim said. Sherlock leaned forward.

"Because..."

"What?"

Then he kissed him. It was sudden and shocking. He hadn't expected this at all. In fact, neither of them had. Sherlock kissed him because he felt like that was what he had to do.

He turned Jim around and pulled away, being in the position now just to walk away. Jim was against the wall breathless.

"You can stay with me for the night if you like. I expect we have a lot to talk about now." Sherlock said. He looked Jim up and down and then walked away.
