Questions and Descisions

Neville's POV:

Harrison has been out for the past two hours.  Tom fell asleep in my lap after an hour of running his hand through Harrison's hair.  Remus is curled up between Sirius and Fenrir, who returned with Sirius after he spoke with Lucius.  Regulus and Severus are seated together eyes never leaving Harrison.  Mum and Dad are seated behind me, they joined us after Lucius told them about the meeting being cancelled.

"Neville may I ask you a few questions?" Regulus asks.  I nod looking up at him.  "Do you know details about his home life before he came here?"  I nod.

"They made him live in a cupboard for 10 years.  Often he was locked in said cupboard without food or water.  Dumbledore knew about it, because his letter was addressed to the exact address cupboard and all.  I didn't know about the rape or that the beatings were so bad.  He would always return to school with bruises most were fading but he never complained." I sigh sadly wishing I had done more to begin with.  Mum squeezes my shoulder in encouragement.

"Does he want us as parents?"

"I believe he does.  He seemed so relieved when we got our letters telling us who we really are.  He just wants to be loved and cared for by people who really care" I say quietly.

"What do you mean people who really care?" Severus asks.

"The Weasleys as you found out didn't care to get him away from the muggles well in actuality they and Granger were using your son Professor.  Dumbledore was paying them to be his friends and 'take care' of him.  The only Weasleys that cared were the twins."

"No need to call me Professor here Neville I am Severus to you outside of Hogwarts."  I smile shyly.

"You know in first year it was your class he was most excited for.  He had developed a love for cooking while living with those muggles and thought it would be similar.  He didn't care what Ron or others said about you he was sure it would be fun.  He understands why you did what you did that first class but it hurt him for awhile.  He wanted your approval every time we walked into that class even through all of those spells that were on him."  Severus sighs and moves to kneel next to Harrison.

"I'm so sorry my son that I was so blind to everything that was happening to you and that I did bully you myself.  I love you so much my son."  he whispers.

"Dad?" Harrison murmurs as his eyes blink open.

"Hello son." he says.

"I love you too" he says throwing himself into his father's arms. Surprisingly the movement didn't wake Tom like I thought it would. I smile watching the two embrace. "How long was I out?"

"About 2 hours" I say. He moves from his father's embrace and over to Tom and I. "Are you okay Har?" He nods.

"I feel more like myself and I can feel my power running through my veins." he says running a hand through Tom's hair. I smile.

"We still need to talk about school for you boys" Regulus says.

"Personally I don't want them anywhere near that headmaster at Hogwarts" Mum says.

"I agree with Bella" Regulus says. Remus nods.

"Mum we still have work to do to right the world and avenge Tom's name he doesn't deserve to live in fear and hiding" Harrison says.  I nod agreeing with my dominant.

"You will avenge him my son but we have to be concerned about your safety we just got you both back we aren't keen to losing you again." Severus says.  "Plus you have to consider your sub in all this."  Harrison and I look down at Tom who is still asleep in my lap then look up at each other.

"We need to be homeschooled if possible." I say thinking about how eager Tom was to mate soon.  Harrison nods.

"Alright we will tutor you here at home between all of us I think we can manage." Mum says.  I turn and smile at her and Dad.  Tom starts to stir in my lap.

"Morning love" Harrison says kissing his cheek.

"Ri" Tom says.

"Yes baby" Tom throws himself in Ri's arms holding tight.

"Don't ever scare me like that again."

"I promise.  Come here Nev" Har says and I join the hug.  "Tom, Nev and I are going to be homeschooled so we can be here to take care of all of your needs."  Tom smiles at that.
