We went all around the city, revisiting some stores, recording each other doing silly things, enjoying our time together.
While we were strolling down the sidewalk, I pulled my phone out of my pocket to check the time. I was surprised to see it was already past 5 o'clock. "We might need to start walking back to where we started," I said. "It's getting late."
Mark looked over his shoulder at me. "Nah, we're fine."
"It's not like we want to," Tosh said. "But we can't really afford to call an Uber this far out."
Mark shrugged. "Don't worry about it."
Kay, Tosh, and I exchanged surprised glances but said nothing. We continued walking in peaceful silence for a couple of minutes until Amy suddenly pulled on Mark's arm. "Mark! We should go there."
"Where?" Kay crossed her arms.
Mark's eyes were sparkling. "Oh, yeah! It's perfect for that today."
"What? What is it?" I was confused, but intrigued.
Both Mark and Amy turned to face us. Amy excitedly said for us to follow them, that they wanted to show us something. They were laughing as they ran off and we chased after them.

We eventually ended up a large parking garage that had at least five floors. Kay asked why we were here, but the only answer we got was to get on the elevator and go to the top, so we did as told. I had the camcorder recording the entire time.
When the elevator reached the top, we slowly walked out, unsure of what to expect. The lot was almost entirely empty--only three cars could be seen sleeping in their own shadows. Mark and Amy ran out and headed towards one of the edges of the building. We followed them, trying to cover our eyes from the bright orange sunlight.
"So what are we doing up here?" Tosh asked.
"Watching the sunset." Amy said. There was a smile on her face.
We lined up along the barrier on the edge of the building, facing the sun. It seemed to be moving fast, dipping behind the trees and towering buildings in the distance. The sky turned vivid orange, pink, and purple--surrounding clouds seemed to glow on their own. On the opposite side right behind us, the sky became more dark indigo the further the sun sank. The combination of colors was so intense, it didn't look real. The clouds looked like some kind of fluffy taffy. The sky appeared as if it were painted with watercolors.
Standing with Tosh on my left, Mark, Amy, then Kay on my right, I watched as the shadows grew and the sun vanished. None of us spoke for a length of time. A warm breeze played with our hair.
Once the sun was gone and the city was enveloped in the cool tones of the night, Mark gathered us together for a big group hug. "I'm glad we got to hang out today."
"This was a lot of fun." Tosh said.
"Yeah, we'll have to do this again some time." I said.
The hug broke up as we collected ourselves to get ready to walk back. I turned my camcorder on and waved for everyone to get in frame behind me. Everyone rushed over, smiles on their faces, waving at the camera.
"With the last bit of light, this is the end of today's adventure with Markiplier and Amy," I started. "Until next time!"
All of us called out alternating good-byes until I shut the camera off.
