12 - Absence

Jihoon's POV

I wore my uniform and went to Euiyeon's house to pick her up.

I hope she told her brother I'll be the one to pick her up.

"Oh? You already here?"

"Yes duh"

"Oh okay. I'll *cough* be there in a second *cough*"

"Are you okay?"

"Yes. *cough* I'm fine. Really"

"No, you're not."

"Then why did you ask?"

"Because- argh! Nevermind. Are you still going to school?"

"Jihoon, just go to school with Daniel. I'll just stay home- *cough* and...rest..-"

*beep beep*

The call ended as I rush inside her house.

Daniel hyung opened the door and look at me with a worried face.

"Jihoon? Oh she's sick.. she can't go. And I also have a morning shift at the cafe. So please take care of her for a while."

"Of course! I will.. you can go now hyung"

"Thanks hoon. I owe you" Daniel hugged me and left.

I was about to enter the door.

"Sir! You can't enter. Who are you?"

"Ugh fuck you. I'M EUIYEON'S FREAKING FIANCEE!"

"Okay. You may enter."

I went inside and rushed to her room..

I opened the door and saw her lying on the bed, pale and her bed is messy.

I sighed and fixed her bed slowly, not wanting to wake her up.

I still hate her for lying to me that she's ready to school but actually is sick.

I cooked her some soup and bibimbap.

"What are you doing here, Jihoon?" I flinched at the voice, and looked to see Kang Hyeongmin.

"Long time no see...Hyeongmin.." I prepared the dishes and talked to Euiyeon's second brother.

He's also back from Busan, and he was my middle school friend.

He hugged me and I hugged back.

"How was life?"

"Nah, falling in love with your sis" I smiled, "Oh really? Great..I have ny girlfriend too. Her name is-"

"OMG HYEONGMIN- OMG." we heard a voice, seeing Euiyeon awake.

"Euiyeooonnniieee!"

"I thought you're sick?" I asked, handing the meal infront of her.

"Thank you very much, oppa." she smiled at me.

I chuckled, kissing her cheeks.

"Wow, PDA huh? Hahaha" Hyeongmin laughed and called his girlfriend.

"Aish, Euiyeon-ah, you go and rest after this okay?"

"Okay oppa!" she hugged me and finished, going back to her room.

"I admit, she's cute in that animal jumpsuit." I laughed, after saying that.

"Yeah. Hahahaha. You're lucky" Hyeongmin laughed along.
