"Prank calls? Seriously..that's so childish Brooke." Kim retorted. "Come on! It might be fun! Please?" Brooke held up her phone and swung it back and forth between her fingers. "Oh alright...but only if Vana is up for it." Brooke looked over at her tall best friend with the most convincing puppy eyes she could muster. "Sure, why not." Vana smiled, knowing it would make Brooke smile as well. The girls sat in a circle, cross cross apple sauce. "I feel like I'm in kindergarten Brooke..." Vana giggled and tried calling the first number. No answer. So she tried again with a different number. Still no answer. This continued for about 10 minutes until somone finally picked up.
"Shit, what do I say?" Vana whispered, making sure the caller didn't hear her. "Just make something up!" Brooke whisper-yelled.
"Uhm..Hello? I have some bad news...I-uh I'm pregnant " The girls snickered and expected the person on the other line to hang up.
"Sorry Vana, I'm not the father. Maybe Derrick is." The girls sat there in shock staring at the phone. He not only knew her name but he knew the name of her Ex.
"How do you know her name?" Kim said trying her hardest not to stutter. "A magician never reveals his secrets Kimberl-" Vana had hung up the second she heard him say Kimberly's name. "What the actual fuck was that?"
"I have no idea. My caller ID isn't even in my name...let's just ignore it." Vana said, with a hint of worry in her voice. "V we can't just ignore that! That's some stalker type shit right there.." Vana sighed and put her phone . "I said we are ignoring it, okay?" Brooke silently agreed, Kim wanted to say something else, but didn't. The night went on, like normal. Kim passed out first while Brooke and Vana stayed up as late as the could watching old vines. Vana was just about to go to sleep when she got a text from an unknown person.
