Daphne's p.o.v

So it's the night of mine and Sam's date and I really want this to work out... but then again, I know it won't...

Sam's p.o.v

Daphne is acting really strange lately. Like last night, she started barely even talking after I asked her to go on this date. I'm really worried about her. So I'm gonna text her about it.
To Daft Punk😝:

Is everything okay...?

From Daft Punk😝:

Uhh yeah. I think...

To Daft Punk😝:

Something's going on... you can tell me anything you know.

From Daft Punk😝:

Umm will you come by my house in 10?

To Daft Punk😝:

Yeah. I'll be right over.

She's acting really weird... what if she doesn't like me anymore. What if she never did...

Daphne's p.o.v

So Sam just texted me asking what was wrong. I really like how he can tell when something's wrong. What am I saying! stop Daphne. No relationships. Well I told him to come by and I'm gonna tell him exactly what has been happening. I hope he treats me the same... What if he doesn't... What if he would judge me for it... I mean it wasn't my fault it happened... Was it?

Sam's p.o.v

I parked my car right next to Daphne's in her drive way. I'm kind if scared to find out what she's gonna tell me. I guess it's now or never. I knocked twice on her door and she opened.
"Hey" she said.
"Hello!" I replied.
"We can go up to my room if you want..." She said with an iffy tone.
"Sure" I said.
As we walked up to her room, she made sure she was covering her wrists. I don't know why... but I think I'm about to find out.
"So what I'm about to tell you is something not even my mom or my sister knows. Can you keep it to yourself?" she asked.
"Yeah. Of coarse I can." I assured.
"Okay. When I was 14, I was walking in an ally behind a store with my dad because I thought it was something else and, and he got really handsy and he shoved me into his car and raped me... I couldn't stop him. But when I woke up, I was in a hospital bed and could barely move. They said it was a miracle that I'm even alive. They said after I passed out, he started beating me up and throwing me everywhere. They said I could have been paralyzed but someone stopped him and rushed me to the hospital. When I got home 2 weeks later, I kept having nightmares about that night. And one night it got really bad I started cutting... I know it's bad. But I still kind of do it... Even though it happened 4 years ago, I feel like it was yesterday. I can't get it out of my head. My dad still lives with my mom but my sister and I finally left to live with Kian. I can't even thank him enough for letting us stay with him. What I told Kian was I wanted to just get away from mom and dad for a bit and he took me in. I know you will probably judge me now on my past because it's horrible. And you probably don't want to be a part of my future. I get it. Just tell me now so I don't have to suffer later." She let tears just flow out. I wiped them away. After she said this I didn't know what to say. I was in shock.
"Why would I judge you on what you didn't do? I don't see you any other way. You are perfect in my eyes. Don't you ever forget that." I said cupping her face.
"I don't want you getting hurt in the end..." she said crying even more.
"It would be my honor to get hurt by you. But that will never come true because you won't hurt me. That will only come true if you don't stay with me. And say yes to this." I said as I kissed her passionately. She got the memo saying she was saying yes.
"Now. Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked.
"Yeah. Yeah I will Sam!" she said hugging me.
"Thank you Sam." She mumbled.
"For what?"
"For being there for me. For giving me hope." She said.
"Will you make me a promise?" I asked.
"Depends"
"Will you stop cutting? And instead just come to me and I'll help you and make everything better?" I asked.
"I promise." She agreed.
"Let's just stay here instead of going on that date tonight. We'll take a rain check. Let's cuddle all day!" I suggested.
"Okay. Sounds like a deal." She said smiling.
Can this day get any better?
