Yellow.
That's the first color I remember. Sunny's room always had yellow curtains and lovely, bright sunflowers embroidered on her bedspread. It was the perfect way to decorate a young child's room—comforting and homelike.
Yellow is a happy color, so it makes complete sense that it would be the first one I remember. My life was very happy back then—back when Sunny and I were close.
I just wish that things could have had stayed the same.
