Jeremy's POV
After I left Talia's room I went back downstairs to the alpha and beta.
"I'm sorry alpha Patrik but my daughter is asleep, I guess you will have to meet her in a couple days at the joining the pack ceremony" I said
" That's alright she probably had a long day, I'm sure tomorrow will be much better" Patrik said.
"It was very nice to meet you Jeremy I'm sure I'll see you at the joining of the pack ceremony. Alpha I'll head out and start the car it has cooled down quiet a bit since we got here." Beta Johnathan says.
*Two days later*
The last two days were a blur I finally got Talia signed up for school and started work yesterday. To say I was tired was an understatement, I was beyond exhausted.
Today Talia was getting a tour of her new school and I well...I was doing loads of paperwork for this new move and job.
When Talia got home I decided that we were going to go shopping since tomorrow night was the joining of the pack ceremony. So we had to wear white but I know for a fact that Tal and I have no white clothing at all.
"Tal hunny can you come down here" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
I walked over to the couch and sat down to wait for her to come downstairs. As I wait I turn the tv on and watch a bit of the hockey game that was on, so far the Chicago Blackhawks were beating the Anaheim Ducks 7-3 and there was 3:42 minutes left in the game. I hear loud footsteps coming down the stairs and feel a small body plop down next to me.
"Yeah dad what did you need?" She asked.
"Sweetie the joining of the pack ceremony is tomorrow night and we need to go shopping for our outfits"
"Okay let me just go get my phone and then we can leave is that okay?" She says looking excited.
"Yes sweetheart that is quite alright"
As she rushes upstairs to get her phone I turn the tv off and slip on my shoes and coat. Talia races down the stairs and out the door to the car before I could even grab the car keys.
I walk out of the house locking the door behind me and go start the car. I make my way down the drive way and start our thirty minute drive to the mall.
Once we finally reached the mall Talia races out of the car and speed walks to the front doors of the mall. I get out of the car and lock it, then start making my way over to where Talia was.
"Hey dad you ready to shop till we drop?" She says as she walks towards the mall doors.
"What have I got myself in to" I said quietly
"I heard that, it's not going to be that bad". She yells over her shoulder then disappears in the mall.
