*Talia's POV *
We have been at the mall for two hours and we have twenty bags of clothing and accessories already. My arms are aching and my legs are slowly feeling numb. Dad agrees it's time to go so we make our way to the car then speed off towards the pack house.
"Dad?"
"Yes Tal?" He respond
"I'm nervous what if no one likes us at the pack."
"Don't worry sweetie I'm sure they will love us, and I heard there are lots of girls your age and some of them go to your school" he said
"I never thought of that thanks dad you made me a little less worried"
The rest of the car ride was quiet not the awkward uncomfortable kind but the relaxing and safe one. Soon I fell asleep with the smooth rocking of the car. The car came to a stop and i felt myself being shaken awake. As i opened my eyes i saw this beautiful mansion it was made out of white stone and had a black roof, many gardens surrounded the building with bright flower.
" c'mon Tal lets go get ready" dad says climbing out of the car.
i had a feeling something wrong was going to happen but i shake it off and climb out of the car with a smile on my face and made my way to the front door of the what i assume is the pack house. My father knocked on the door three times and waited for someone to answer. Five minutes later a young boy maybe fourteen years old with black hair, green eyes and a lanky frame opened the door.
" Oh hello, who are you?" The boy said looking at us with curiousness.
"Hi young man I am the new doctor for your pack, my name is Jeremy and this is my daughter Talia it is very nice to meet you-"
" Oh i'm sorry sir, my name is Alexzander but you can call me Alex and its nice to meet you too." the boy said.
Alex welcomes us in and decides to give us a quick tour before showing us to where we can get ready. The house is great theres a library, game room, training room, spa, indoor pool and a media room. I love this place i'm thinking dad made a good choice of accepting this job. Alex shows us to two of the guest bedrooms where we would get ready for the joining of the pack ceremony.
*Two hours later*
My hair was washed and curled, my makeup was done and I was dressed in my outfit. Earlier Alex said someone would come to get me half an hour before the ceremony started, so I sat on the bed and looked through Instagram waiting patiently to be picked up. Small knocks were heard at the door so I walked over to see who it was.
As I open the door the person who knocked on the door was nowhere to be seen. I felt three little tugs on my white dress. I looked down to see a cute little boy with blond redish hair and bright green eyes. He grabs my hand and starts pulling me down different hall ways and down set of stairs and stops just in front of the door.
" I can only take you this far there's a path to the right of the house there are lights on the path. Follow it and it will bring you to the clearing where the ceremony is to happen." The little boy says before running off.
I follow what he said and walk down the path I could see someone just ahead of me. As I came up to the person they asked me to take off my shoes, so I did as I was told then continued down the path. I made it to the clearing and didn't know who anyone was and then I spotted my dad and walked over to where he was.
"Don't worry sweetheart we will have time to introduce you to everyone after the ceremony." Dad whispers in my ear.
"Thank you everyone for gathering here today to welcome the new pack doctor and his daughter into the pack. The moon is almost in place so we will start the ceremony in a few moments." The man that was a my house a few days ago said.
The moon made its way to above the clearing. The man I assumed was the alpha came to the middle of where we were standing and was holding a dagger in his hand. Dad was the first to go so they walked towards each other. The alpha cut his right hand with the dagger then handed the dagger to my father who then cut his right hand as well. They then shook their cut hands and the alpha welcomed him into the pack.
It was my turn next and to be honest I was terrified. I walked towards the alpha, and was handed the dagger. I shakily cut my right hand, and then shook the alphas hand. The moment my hand touched the alphas hand I started screaming. My body was on fire and my bones were cracking and soon everything felt fine. The only thing that worried me with the confusion and astonishment on everyone's faces. I looked down at my feet and screamed, then I fainted.
