*Talia's POV*
Once we reached the pack house the boys left to do some pack work, so the girls and I decided to go for a run. We all met in the backyard at the forest line, when we were all there we ran behind different trees and stripped off our clothes. The feeling of my bones breaking and muscles shifting made me feel a lot more relaxed.
" Who wants to race" I said in our mind-link
"I do" Elle says back
"Sure" Reid responded
With that I let my wolf take over and start sprinting through the woods with the girls hot on my tail. We ran around for a bit longer till we stumbled upon a lake. I decided to lay down and let my wolf take a break, after about an hour we were all rested up and ready to head back to the pack house, I open mine and Elijah's mind link to be filled with anger and worry
"Tal where the hell are you" Elijah screams through the link
"I'm with the girls at a lake about a mile from the pack house. Why?" I say back calmly
"I need you three to get to our room and in the closet behind my dresser there's a compartment that will open by your handprint. Stay there till I come and get you." He said in a panic
"Okay but please tell me what's going on Elijah" I respond
"Rogues are attacking, now get to the pack house!"
I looked at the girls and instantly they knew something was wrong. I turned around and shifted into my wolf and took off towards the pack house. At the forest line the girls and I stopped in our tracks and came face-to-face with lots of blood and dead bodies laying all over the pack backyard. Instantly I knew we had to get out of here and get to safety, or at least that's what Elijah wants. We raced through the fight and upstairs to Elijah and I's room, we all shift into our human form and raced into the closet.
"What's going on, I'm scared" Elle says while whimpering
"Rogue attack" I simply say
We all went silent when we heard the bangs and crashes coming from the bedroom. After a while all the bangs and crashes stopped and hushed voices could be heard.We all cling to each other scared the people in our room would find us and possibly kill us on the spot. I finally had enough of this waiting game, so I crawl over to the door and scan my hand to open it.
"Wait here till Elijah, the guys or I come back" I say
"What no if you go we are too" Ella whisper screams
"No as your Luna and best friend I command you to stay" I say using my my luna command.
I closed the door and lock it tight, then slowly crawl towards the closet door to try and hear a bit better. The room is quiet but all that is heard is the shuffling of feet and the moving of objects in the room.
"You said she would be in here Amanda. Why did you lie to me" a male voice said
"She was, I watched her run in here." The girl named Amanda said back
"Well I don't see her, so where is she." The man shouts
The room fell silent till the banging of a door was heard echoing through the room. Multiple people must have come into the room, because there was a lots of footsteps and I heard about eight heartbeats other than my own.
You must call for mate now! My wolf yells at me
"Elijah there's eight people in our room." I say through our link
"Stay in the safe I'll deal with them." He says back
"Elijah I think Amanda is on their side." I say
"Stay in the safe please I'm not losing you again" he says worried
I crawl back towards the safe and just as the door closes I hear yelling and fighting coming from the bedroom. We don't know how long it's been but the girls fell asleep 5 minutes ago and I'm sitting here waiting to be let out because I'm starving. My stomach starts to growl just as the unlock of the door sounds, the door open to reveal Elijah's beta Dean who looks oddly familiar. I shake the girl's awake in point to Dean, they squeal and race out of the safe and out of the bedroom I followed Dean out of the safe and into the bedroom. Once we were in the bedroom I pull on Dean's arm making him stop in his tracks and turn towards me.
"Yes" he says
"How do I know you. You look so familiar but I can't tell how." I say confused
"Well Talia I look familiar because I'm your older brother" Dean says
What he's my older brother!?! There's no way, my brother is or was scrawny and not as tan. I'm so confused the room starts to spin and I start seeing Stars. The last thing I hear before Blackness consumes me is my brother and Elijah calling my name.
