Chapter 8

We planned on leaving in the morning so we had to rest up. Mikaela and Sam slept God knows where as I slept in the back seat of Bee.

"Lisa.."

"I know it's not my fault.." I grumbled and Bee went into his hologram. "It's true..it's not.."

I sat up and looked at him. "Then why do I feel so guilty?"

Bee shrugged and I looked away as he then pulled me in his arms. "I guess that's part of caring of someone?"

I shrugged and I relaxed in his embrace. "God you make everything sound like its gonna be ok.."

"Cause it will be..now get some sleep.."

I nodded and laid back down. "Bee.."

"Yeah.."

He was still in his hologram form so I was able to look in his eyes. "Can you..can you play a song?"

He smiled as slowly his hologram form faded and I sighed. He then began to talk through the radio again.

"What song beautiful?"

I blushed a little and sighed "Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift..m-my mom use to sing it to me when I was small.."

Bee whirred and the song began to play. I closed my eyes in mattered of seconds falling deep into slumber with the tune bathing me.

"You and I will be safe and sound..."

Next morning..🌞☀️

"Lisa up you get." Sam stated and I yawned. I sat up and got in the drivers seat as Sam sat in the passenger side with Mikaela and Leo in the back.

We couldn't get anything to eat cause we are wanted now. Thankfully I was able to find some spare clothes.

I changed into a black v-neck fitted long sleeved shirt we a pair of black ripped jeans with my leather jacket and black combat boots.

I pulled on my black cap and Sam put on a cap himself. "Ready?"

I nodded and off we went.

As we drove Leo began to speak. "This guy Robo Warrior everything about anything alien he's suppose to know. One time we revenge hacked his site and maybe I saw one of your uh alien drawings or whatever."

After what seemed like forever Leo told us to drive up to a butcher shop?

We get out and walk up to the meat store. Leo looked around. "Yeah, this is it."

He walked up to the door and looked at Mikaela, Sam and I. "Ok, wait here. I'll give you the go-no go alright."

I step in and Leo runs over to me. "ITS HIM! It's him! That's the guy right here!"

"No.."

Sam pulled back his hood as we all stared at the fucking prick. Simmons..that's the guys?!

OUT OF ANYONE ELSE IN THIS DAMN PLANET IT HAD TO BE HIM!!!

"You gotta be kidding me.." Sam and I huffed at the same time.

"ALRIGHT! Meat store closed." He dings the bell. "Everybody out! Out! Right now! That means you lady." As Simmons rushed them out Leo looked at us.

"You two know this guy."

"Yeah we're old friends." Sam stated and I looked at him.

Before I could say anything Simmons retorted with a snap and got in my face. I raised a brow and gave him a death glare as he spat.
