Chapter 6 (Hericane)

~~~3 months later~~~

Applejack's P.O.V.
Its been three months since Rarity and I broke up. She texted me that it would be best, if we pretended that we never had a relationship and move along with our lives. I transfered to Crystal Prep three months after the incident. I suddenly became best friends with Lemon Zest, Sour Sweet, Sugarcoat, Sunny Flare, and Indigo Zap. The five of them seem pretty cool. I've lost contact with my friends in Canterlot exept for Fluttershy and Rainbow. I missed them. They were like my sisters, and I abandoned them. I wish I never left Rarity. I wish that...that I was a better and stronger person for her. I guess it's to late for me...and for us. I stared at my textbook thinking, until I heard someone calling my name.

"Applejack..." I ignored the person calling me for a while, then the person just kept calling me, until it got annoying. "What?!," I exclaimed, and lifted my head from the textbook. I realized that I yelled at the ever enthusiastic, music lover, Lemon Zest. "Sorry..." I quickly added, she looked at me confused. "Are you thinking about them again?, " she asked. I simply nodded. She knitted her eyebrows and slid her hand into mine. "You know, I know a place where you can get your mind off things..." She said as she batted her eyelashes at me. I chuckled, and said, "Sorry, Lemon. I have homework." She looked at me with the "Are yoi serious" look, and said, "you know, it is the last day of school."

"Okay...Maybe some other time, sugarcube" I chuckled, and I was a little bit confused. I got rid of my accent ever since I transferred. She frowned, but smiled when I called her "sugarcube". I went out of the classroom, and started my long walk home. Lemon Zest confessed that she had a little bit of a crush on me last week. I never expected her to like me. Yet, I knew she was right about me thinking about my friends in Canterlot. But I knew that person who would mostly cross my mind was her...I sighed, reminiscing the times we were together. I miss her. My jewel, my diamond,....my
...Rarity...

What am I supposed to do with out you? You gave me light. I bet you're dating someone new, and that person would be stronger than me, better than me, and more of your type. Am I right, Rarity? I wish I could hold you close for at least a minute. I sighed, and without noticing someone ran over me.

Rarity's P.O.V.
It was the last day of school. Applejack transferred to Crystal Prep. I miss her a lot. I miss her arms around me. I was snapped back to reality when someone called me. "Rarity, there you are we've been looking for you." My best friend, Twilight said. "Why were you looking for me, darling?" I asked. She looked at me confused, and said, "we have a sleepover at Pinkie's remember? " "Oh my! How could I have I forgotten? It must have slipped my mind, darling. I'll be there." I said, while putting my things out of my locker in such a hurry. I told her to go ahead. She nodded, and left to find Sunset. I was running home, but I had the urge to pass my Applejack's home. I was running so fast, that I accidentally ran over someone.

"Ugh...I'm so sorry. This isn't very ladylike of me. Running over someone." I stated, while rubbing my head.
"Its alright. I wasn't looking, either." A familiar voice said. I opened my eyes, and I saw her. The person I've been yearing to hold me for the past three months. She was holding my waist. I was on top of her, we stared at each other. Her beautiful emerald eyes staring right into my blue sapphire eyes. As we realized that it had been a full minute. We immediately stood up. "I'm awfully sorry, Jackie." I said shyly. She stared at me with wide eyes, and I realized what I called her. I was about to open my mouth, but instead she chuckled. God! I missed her chuckle. "What happened to your accent...Applejack?" I asked. She smiled, and said, "its been three months sice we've seen each other, Rarity." I smiled, until I remembered that I was suppose to be at Pinkie's in less than 30 minutes. I waved goodbye at Applejack. I was going to shake her hand, but I was taken aback when she hugged tightly. She pulled away, and told me to go. I turned around, and started walking back to my house. I heard Applejack murmur, "I miss you, Rares..."
