~Truely's Point of View~

I watched as Tristen's hand came down on the play button on the karaoke machine. I took one look at the guys standing to my right as the song started. It was crazy, everything was happening so quickly.

I just couldn't believe I was standing there, in the same room as One Direction, about to sing with them. It was pretty much everything I had ever wanted.

The very familier guitar part started playing as I waited to start singing. Just then, Tristen grabbed five papers off the table and handed them to each of the guys quickly. I looked down at Harry's and saw it was the parts they were supposed to be singing. They would obviously be very bored just singing in the background.

"I thought, I saw a man brought to life. He was warm, he came around, he was dignified, he showed me what it was to cry," I started, changing some of the lyrics to the original song and so it would fit since I was a female.

"Well, you wouldn't be that man I adored. You don't seem to know, seem to care what your heart is for, but I don't know him anymore," on the last line, Liam sang along quietly.

"There's nothing more where he used to lie, the conversation has run dry. That's what's going on, nothing's fine I'm torn." As I sung "nothing's fine I'm torn", Harry quietly sang along quietly. I got chills listening to his angelic voice next to mine.

Zayn would occasionally echo as Niall and I sang, "I'm all out of faith, this is how I feel. I'm cold and I am shamed, lying naked on the floor."

"Illusion never changed, into something real, I'm wide awake, and I can see the perfect sky is torn. You're a little late, I'm already torn."

The song went on as I sang certain parts with certain band members.

Once the song ended, I took a step back from the microphone and cleared my throat. Tristen was looking down at a few papers that were on a clipboard, quickly scribbling a few things down as she spoke. "That sounded pretty good guys. There are a few parts I'd like to change, a few things we need to work on. Other than that, good job."

The guys and I nodded, and I just muttered an okay. I was still in shock that I managed to pull that off without fainting. Some people would say I was overreacting, but only directioners would understand the pressure.

I bit my lip and looked at the door as there was a knock. The bodyguard was back, and he motioned for the guys to come with him with his hand.

As they started to walk out, I called out, "See ya guys. Good job."

Smiling, they turned around, and said either, "Thanks, you too," or "Yeah, see ya."

I stood there and waited for them to walk out, sad that they were leaving, but they needed to go. I knew I'd see them later anyway.

Harry took a step forward, but hesitated. After he thought for a moment, he turned, and quickly hugged me. As he pulled away, he reached for my hand and gave it a light squeeze.

"Good job," he muttered.

"Thanks," I said in reply, not able to move from shock.

Blinking a few times, I watched him flash me his cheeky smile, then turn and follow his friends out.
