The sweet air blew across my face and muddled my hair. I drew in a deep breath and smiled. Summer was always my favorite season. Especially when you get to spend it with your best friends on a cruise ship!
I turn around to see Mahogony Lox, Taylor Caniff, Nash Grier, Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky, Mathew Espinosa, and Cameron Dallas.
Nash and I go way back. We have been best friends for years, and now every last one of these people are my best friend.
They are all smiling ear to ear like me.
"Let's go find our room!" Taylor begs.
Mahogony giggles. Wow. She totally likes him.
I smile thinking of how cute of a couple they would be.
When we reach our room Matt slides the card into the lock and we all trample over him to see our room.
"Wow." I breath.
It is a huge room with two huge queen sized beds, a fluffy couch that folds into a bed, and a bunk bed.
"I call top bunk!" I squeal and run to claim it.
"No fair." Mahogony pouts and throws her overpacked bag on the bottom bunk.
"Is so." I tease her.
When I jump off of the bed gracefully, I go to check out the rest of the house.
When I open the bathroom door, I see a porcelain toilet, two sinks topped off with a huge mirror with light bulbs encircling it, and a ginormous shower with a gorgeous teal curtain sweeping the white tile floor. I walk into the living room and look around. There is a wiping kitchen with all sorts of whisks and spatulas. I turn around once more and see a door leading out to a balcony. I rush over to it slipping on the slick tile.
When I walk outside, my ice cold skin from the air conditioned room is instantly warmed by the shining sun. Goosebumps sweep across my body. I always love that feeling.
I squint out across the glistening water.
"It's beautiful, huh?" A deep voice says behind me.
I jump and turn around to see Cameron.
"Jeez! you scared me!"
Cameron laughs.
"But yes, it is beautiful, you creeper." I grin.
We stand there in a comfortable silence staring out at the gorgeous scenery.
I breath in through my nose getting a sweet smell of the summer air and the salty water.
"Mmmm." I sigh. "It smells like summer."
"Yeah i guess. To me, summer smells like sunscreen and Popsicles."
I laugh at how he said it.
"What?" He questions me with a hint of laughter in his voice.
"Nothin'. You're just funny."
"I am. Aren't i?" He says with a smirk.
"Eh. Not as funny as me."
I look over and see Cameron staring at me with his beautiful hazel eyes and his-
No, remember Haley, he's just a friend, I say to myself, shaking the though out of my head.
When we walk back inside, I say
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to check out the rest of the ship."
I glance down at my dirty airplane clothes.
"Right after I change." I laugh.
I change into whit high waisted shorts, and a rich coral tank that shows off my toned stomach. Then, I top it off with black vans.
I twist a bun on top of my head and place my shades on the crown of my forehead.
When I walk out of the bathroom, everyone else is changed and ready to party.
"Lets do this." I smirk, smoothly sliding my sunglasses over my eyes.
Cameron grins at me and I blush.
When we emerge onto the main deck, I instantly feel my sun frying.
Reading my mind, Mahogony starts spraying me with sunscreen.
"Thanks Mom." I tease her.
"Hey. You will thank me later." she says with a hint of a smile.
When she finishes spraying me, I return the favor, then I start spraying the rest of the guys. when I get to Nash, I spray him right in the face and he yelps.
"I'm going to get you!" He yells, holding his eyes shut.
I giggle and start squealing as he blindly chases after me.
"Fine." He stops. "I will get you back, but you just won't know when."
"Yeah." I grin. "Sure you will."
